"Isn't that reporter for Sorcerer Weekly coming in today?" Happy chirped, flying above the blonde's head. She swatted at him lightly, dipping her head to take a sip of her milkshake. She peeled the wrapper of her vanilla cupcake, quirking a brow at Happy's comment.

"What reporter? From Sorcerer Weekly?" She mused, taking a small bite.

"Master was crying about it yesterday when everyone trashed the guild—don't act coy Lucy, you're all dressed up, so you clearly knew," Happy said smugly, puffing out his cheeks behind his paws. Lucy flushed a pretty shade of red, looking away. So what if she put on makeup, chose a cute outfit to wear and tidied up her hair? She didn't want to be looking like a slob while the reporter was there. Who knows? He might even take a picture of her too!

"W-well, Erza's all dressed up too!" Lucy yelped, gesturing towards the armoured mage who stood next to the table, surveying the noisy mob.

"What? This armour is a new design by Heart Kruez," the redhead drawled, showing off the red design.

"Oh, Titania Erza!"

Peering past Erza, just behind her a few feet away was a blonde-haired man with a camera hanging around his neck. He looked in awe and enraptured by the atmosphere of the guild. He must be the reporter.

"Oh my god, she's real! She's so cool!" He cried out before he quickly collected himself, "I'm really sorry. Please excuse me."

Erza assured him that it was fine before he whisked her away for some interviewing. Lucy pouted, shoving half of her vanilla cupcake in her mouth. He didn't even notice her. Happy giggled at her reaction, causing the reporter to look back at them curiously. Hurriedly swallowing her cupcake, she tried to give her best smile as he approached the two.

"Happy, why is your fur blue?"

"Because I'm a cat!"

Ignored. Again. The Celestial wizard visibly deflated as he turned to run towards Gray, who was sitting a few tables over. She slouched down in her seat while someone slid into the bench next to her. She didn't care to reprimand Natsu who threw the rest of the cupcake in his mouth. She pouted childishly, grumbling to herself quietly.

"Where's that damned reporter?" He hissed, scanning the hall.

"Natsu! Natsu Dragneel! The Dragon Slayer, Chaos, who I wanted to see the most! So cool!"

The reporter fumbled with his notepad, gushing over the appearance of Natsu. Damn, this guy didn't let anyone escape him.

"You're the guy that's been destroying my reputation! You wrote that I destroyed this and that I destroyed that!" Natsu scoffed angrily. Huh? Since when did Natsu care about his reputation?

"You think Natsu knows that he also destroyed his own reputation by acting all cold towards people?" Happy mumbled, giggling quietly, to Lucy who sighed with a slight smile. Of course, leave it to Natsu to become feared as the Dragon Slayer of Chaos due to simple miscommunication.

"I can't believe you're real, can we shake hands?!" The reporter fangirled while Natsu seethed. In a second, Natsu had knocked the reporter to the ground and Lucy shrieked.

"Natsu!" Lucy shouted, running over. This would surely not aid his reputation, which Lucy was sure was already down the drain. She pulled Natsu away from the reporter, who continued squealing and jotting things down in his little notepad.

"Is this your girlfriend, Natsu?" The reporter inquired, keeping his eyes glued to his notepad as he wrote.

"N-no, nothing like that! We're just friends," Lucy forced out quickly, briefly remembering the conversation she had with Gajeel the other day. Her eyes downcast, she only got attention when it was related to Natsu it seemed.

"Lucy's a Celestial wizard, she has about five gold Zodiac keys," Natsu mentioned offhandedly, picking up Lucy's milkshake and downing the rest of it.

"Really?! That's so cool!"

"My mom was a Celestial wizard, she's the one who taught me, I got most of my keys from her, but I have a few silver keys too," Lucy said, punching Natsu in the arm for drinking her milkshake. He smirked, looking down at her as she pouted, crossing her arms.

"Waahhh! So cool! Many people in Fairy Tail practice all types of lost magic, is it cool if I take a picture of you two? Happy can be in it too! I wanna do a special feature on you guys!"

And that was the story as to how Natsu, Lucy, and Happy ended up on the cover of the next feature of Sorcerer Weekly about Fairy Tail.

-----

"Seriously though Natsu, you decide to laze around in my bed instead of picking a job?" Lucy asked, baffled as she stared down at the large lump in her bed. Under her comfy pink comforter were the bodies of Natsu and Happy, who were dead set on sleeping the day away. She couldn't afford to simply lie around and sleep, she had to pay her rent somehow!

"Come under the covers, Lucy, it's super warm~!" Happy's voice sounded muffled from beneath the blanket. Scoffing, Lucy pulled up the blanket, gaining a squeal and groan in response.

"I'm going to go on a job without you, I can't just sit around and wait!" Lucy threatened, getting more annoyed by the second. Natsu simply turned away from her, continuing to sleep.

"Apparently the Ethernano from before is still affecting him, it's like that time when he ate Laxus' lightning," Happy yawned, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes with his small paws.

"Laxus... isn't he Master Makarov's grandson?" Lucy inquired.

"Yeah, he is! He's strong, but definitely not as strong as Natsu! Don't you think it would be cool if we hosted a big tournament like a battle royale for the guild? I think it'd be a hit!" Happy declared and Lucy giggled quietly. His enthusiasm was adorable, to say the very least.

"Oh, by the way, Mira told me to give you this -- it's for the Mrs. Fairy Tail contest!" Happy's paw held onto a crumpled up piece of paper. Lucy's eyes scanned the paper and she gasped.

"This could pay my rent!" She cheered excitedly. Of course, she had forgotten all about Magnolia's famous Harvest Festival. With this kind of money, she could live comfortably for a few months at least. She grinned wildly. She was so in. Let the games begin.
