Rakshit's punishment

When Rakshit arrived at the warehouse, the air around it was thick with tension. This wasn’t just a building—it was one of the many fortified locations his organization used for critical business and handling “situations.” The towering structure sat hidden among the industrial sectors of Delhi, guarded by men who would die at Rakshit’s word.

Raj was already there, waiting at the entrance. As Rakshit stepped out of the car, his cold, authoritative presence seemed to send chills through the air. His eyes were dark, intense, and unreadable—this was the   Phantom  , the man no one dared to challenge, and Vikram was about to learn why.

“  Boss, Vikram’s inside. We’ve secured him, as ordered,  ” Raj informed him, his tone laced with respect but also a deep concern. Raj had seen this side of Rakshit before—the ruthless, unforgiving side that surfaced when someone tried to overthrow his reign.

Rakshit nodded once, curtly, before stepping inside. The warehouse was dimly lit, casting long shadows along the concrete walls. At the center of the room,   Vikram   was bound to a chair, bruised and beaten, but still conscious. His face twisted into a mix of defiance and fear as Rakshit approached.

“  Rakshit, I—  ” Vikram began, trying to plead his case, but his words were cut short by a single, piercing look from Rakshit.

“  You really thought you could take my place, Vikram?  ” Rakshit’s voice was eerily calm, but beneath it simmered a cold fury. He took slow, deliberate steps toward the man, his presence suffocating.

Vikram swallowed hard, his bravado fading. “  I didn’t mean to... I was just—  ”

“  You were just what? Ambitious? Greedy? Stupid?  ” Rakshit’s voice dropped to a whisper, but it was laced with menace. “  Do you even understand what it takes to be me? To hold this power? To have everything and yet nothing at the same time?  ”

Vikram’s eyes darted around the room, desperate for an escape that didn’t exist.

“  You thought you could steal it all with one move. But you failed, Vikram. And now, you’re going to learn what happens to those who betray me.  ” Rakshit’s gaze was like ice, sending shivers down Vikram’s spine.

Raj stood nearby, watching in silence, his face expressionless. He had seen many men crumble under Rakshit’s rule, and this would be no different.

Rakshit circled around Vikram like a predator sizing up its prey. “  You want to know what power feels like? It feels like control. Like knowing that every man in this room answers to me. That the entire city trembles when I give an order. And you? You are nothing but a lesson for anyone else who thinks they can challenge me.  ”

Vikram’s breathing grew rapid, panic setting in. “  Please, Rakshit. I was wrong. I’ll do anything—just let me go!  ”

Rakshit stopped in front of him, his eyes narrowing. “  Let you go? You should have thought about that before you betrayed me. Now, all that’s left is for you to suffer the consequences. And when I’m done, no one will even remember your name.  ”

With a flick of his wrist, Rakshit signaled to Raj. The men around Vikram tightened their grip, preparing for what was to come.

Vikram’s pleas fell on deaf ears as Rakshit turned away, walking toward the exit. His point had been made. The punishment would be swift, but the message would last forever.

As Rakshit reached the door, he paused, glancing back over his shoulder one last time. “  Next time someone thinks of betraying me, they’ll remember this night. They’ll remember what happened to you.  ”

And with that, he walked out, leaving Vikram to his fate—a fate that would ensure no one ever questioned Rakshit’s authority again.

As Rakshit got back into his car, his mind briefly flickered to something else—  Aaravi  , her kind face, her gentle concern. But just as quickly as the thought appeared, he buried it deep. In his world, there was no place for softness, no place for light. Not yet.

Raj got into the driver’s seat, glancing at Rakshit in the rearview mirror. “  It’s done, boss. He won’t be a problem anymore.  ”

Rakshit didn’t respond. His face was as unreadable as ever, the stone-cold mafia boss who ruled with an iron fist. But somewhere inside, beneath the layers of power and ruthlessness, something had shifted. Something he wasn’t ready to face yet.

For now, all that mattered was maintaining his empire—and no one, not even Vikram, would stand in his way.
