Hello everyone welcome to new chapter ☺️☺️☺️
The day seemed ordinary as Aaravi concluded her consultancy work at the Mumbai hospital, her dedication earning admiration from the medical team. She was leaving when a sudden accident occurred—a vehicle rammed into hers at a calculated angle. Though her injuries were minor, the incident felt deliberate, and onlookers rushed her to the nearest hospital.
The driver, shaken, called Rakshit and hesitantly revealed, “Sir, the accident… it seems strange. It didn’t feel natural, as if someone wanted to harm Dr. Aaravi.”
Rakshit froze. His world narrowed to one thought: Aaravi was hurt. His chest tightened with an unfamiliar fear. Without wasting a second, he barked orders at Raj: “Find out everything. Who, why, how—leave no stone unturned.”
Rakshit sped to the hospital, his emotions a storm inside him. By the time he arrived, his presence sent ripples of chaos. The mafia king, usually composed, was now a man possessed. “Where is she? I want the best doctors on her case!” he shouted, his voice trembling with both authority and fear. The staff scrambled, ensuring no delay in her treatment.
When he finally saw Aaravi, lying on the hospital bed with a bandage on her arm, relief washed over him—but the sight of her in pain shattered him. “Aaravi…” he whispered, his voice breaking as he sat beside her, taking her hand.
Aaravi opened her eyes and saw Rakshit, his face pale, his eyes red. “I’m fine, Rakshit,” she assured softly, trying to sit up, but he stopped her, his hands trembling. “Do you even understand? If anything had happened to you…” He couldn’t finish his sentence.
Seeing him so vulnerable, Aaravi gently cupped his face. “I’m here, Rakshit. Nothing will happen to me as long as you’re here.” But his fear was evident—he couldn’t lose her.
To calm him, Aaravi pulled him into a hug, stroking his back softly. “Shh… I’m okay.” When his trembling didn’t stop, she placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. Rakshit stilled, his breath catching. Her warmth slowly replaced his fear with calm.
“Promise me,” he said, his voice hoarse, “you’ll stay safe.” Aaravi smiled softly, her eyes filled with love. “With you around, I don’t need to promise.”
Rakshit sat by Aaravi’s bedside, holding her hand tightly, as if letting go would make her disappear. Externally calm, his stormy emotions betrayed his fear. The accident had shaken him to his core, a terrifying reminder that Aaravi’s life was in danger because of his dark world. His mind spiraled, questioning how he could protect her when danger loomed so close. His grip tightened, and his body began to tremble.
Aaravi, though resting with her eyes closed, felt his unease. She opened her eyes and noticed the distant, haunted look on his face. “Rakshit,” she called softly, but he didn’t respond. She sat up despite her injuries, pulled her hand free, and gently shook him. He snapped back to reality, his worried gaze meeting hers.
“Aaravi!” he exclaimed, his voice full of concern. “What do you need, jaan? Tell me, and I’ll make it happen.”
She smiled faintly and said, “I want to go home.”
His eyes widened in surprise. “What? No way! You’re injured, and I’m not letting you go anywhere. You need rest, and this is the safest place for you.”
Aaravi pouted playfully, “Rakshit, I’m a doctor. I know my body. I’m fine. I’ll be much better at home.”
“No,” he said firmly. “You’re my world, Aaravi. I can’t risk your safety. What if something happens?”
