Rakshit took a deep breath before dialing Aaravi’s number, his heart pounding with both excitement and nerves. Despite his position as the Phantom, Asia’s most feared .

Clearing his throat, he asked, “Aaravi… would you be comfortable staying in the apartmentmafia boss, he found himself feeling vulnerable in front of her. When she answered, her warm, soft voice filled him with a peace he rarely felt just opposite mine? I’ll arrange everything according to your needs. If there’s anything you want, just let me know.”

Aaravi’s response was immediate and filled with joy. “Rakshit, I’d be more than happy to stay close to you! I don’t need anything special because I know whatever you do, it will be perfect. I trust you completely.” Her words were laced with pure affection and trust, unknowingly piercing through his guarded heart.

Rakshit felt his breath catch. The weight of her unwavering trust settled heavily on him, a mixture of awe and a newfound sense of responsibility. Here was this woman, innocent and unaware of the darkness he carried, placing her trust entirely in him, the Phantom. It was a feeling he couldn’t put into words; her love and confidence shattered the walls he had built around his heart.

"Aaravi," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "Tumhara yeh bharosa… mujhe zinda banata hai. (Your trust… it makes me feel alive.)"

The warmth in her laugh melted away his doubts. “Rakshit, you don’t have to worry about me. Just having you nearby makes me feel safe. I know you’ll always take care of me.” Her gentle words reaffirmed her love, and he could hear the sincerity in every syllable.

As he hung up, Rakshit sat there, lost in thought. Her innocence, her faith—it made him feel both unworthy and deeply moved. The fierce urge to protect her surged through him, stronger than any other instinct he’d known. In that moment, he vowed to shield her from every shadow in his life, to ensure that nothing, not even his dangerous world, would ever touch her.

In the silence of his room, he whispered to himself, “Aaravi, tum meri roshni ho. Tumhare liye main duniya ke saare andhere mita dunga.” (Aaravi, you are my light. For you, I’ll erase every shadow from this world.)

Her love was his solace, his anchor, and he knew he would do anything to keep her happy, safe, and forever close to his heart.
As the evening settled in, Rakshit and Aaravi found themselves on the phone, their daily ritual of exchanging sweet words and sharing little moments from their day. Rakshit’s voice was calm and steady, but there was a soft warmth in it that he reserved only for her.

"So, how was your day, Aaravi? Did you manage to get some rest between your patients?" he asked, a hint of concern evident.

Aaravi chuckled. “I did, don’t worry. It was a busy day, but the thought of talking to you kept me going. By the way, I’ll be flying to Mumbai tomorrow. My flight leaves around 4 p.m., and I should be there by 6.”

Rakshit smiled, already making plans in his mind. “Perfect. I’ll come to pick you up. You’ll be exhausted from the journey, so let me take care of you once you arrive.”

Aaravi’s heart warmed. “Thank you, Rakshit. But there’s one more thing…” she hesitated playfully, “I’ve been craving your paneer chilli—the one you made for me during Karwa Chauth in Delhi. I know I’m being a bit demanding…”

Rakshit laughed softly. “Aaravi, for you, anything. I’ll make sure it’s ready and waiting when you get here. Anything else my queen desires?” he teased, his voice filled with affection.

Aaravi felt a blush creep up her cheeks. “You spoil me, Rakshit. But it’s not just the food… it’s how you make everything feel special.”

Rakshit’s voice softened further. “You’re special to me, Aaravi. Seeing you smile, knowing you’re happy—that’s all I want.”

There was a comfortable silence as they both let the words settle. Aaravi finally spoke, her voice gentle, “I’m lucky to have you, Rakshit. You’re my safe place, my peace.”

In that moment, Rakshit felt his heart swell with emotions he rarely allowed himself to feel. “And you, Aaravi, are my light. You’ve changed everything for me. I’ll make sure your time here in Mumbai is nothing short of perfect.”

Aaravi sighed happily. “I can’t wait. Just being close to you is all I need.”

They stayed on the line, each wrapped in the other’s presence, finding solace in the love they shared. As they said goodnight, both of them knew that this bond was something rare, something precious—a promise to protect, cherish, and love one another, no matter the distance or challenges.

In Kapoor family mansion, Delhi

The Kapoor household was a lively whirlwind of activity as the family prepared for Aaravi’s departure to Mumbai. Laughter and chatter filled the air as her mother, Priya, meticulously packed food items, making sure Aaravi wouldn’t miss a home-cooked meal. “These snacks will last you a long time, Aaravi,” Priya said lovingly, packing theplas, dry fruits, and homemade laddoos.

In her room, Aaravi was finalizing her packing with Riya’s help. “Riya, will all this fit?” Aaravi asked with a chuckle, glancing at the growing pile of food her mother had packed.

Riya laughed, “If mom had her way, she’d probably send a whole suitcase of food with you!”

Just then, Mr. Rajesh Kapoor joined, his usual fatherly advice ready. “Aaravi, remember to be cautious while you’re in Mumbai. And when you’re looking at properties for the hospital, keep these things in mind: make sure it’s in a well-connected area with good public transportation, has stable water and electricity supply, and is free from legal disputes. We want it to be convenient and safe for patients,” he said with a reassuring smile.

Aaravi nodded seriously. “I’ll take care of it, Papa. Don’t worry. I’ve noted everything.”

Meanwhile, Aryan, her protective brother, was flitting around the house, visibly anxious. He approached Aaravi, his face clouded with worry. “Are you sure you’ll be alright? Mumbai’s a big city, and I won’t be there to look after you,” he fretted.

Aaravi gently placed a hand on his shoulder, smiling. “Aryan, don’t worry. My friend has arranged everything for me. I’ll be staying somewhere safe, and they’ll even pick me up from the airport. Plus, I’ll call you every day.”

Aryan’s frown softened a bit. “Your friend, huh? I hope they understand how precious you are to us.”

Aaravi chuckled. “Trust me, they do. And you know me—I’ll be cautious.”

Riya added teasingly, “Yes, Aryan. Aaravi is going to be just fine. Stop hovering like a worried mother hen.”

Aryan rolled his eyes but couldn’t help a smile. “Fine, fine. But remember, one call, and I’ll be there.”

Aaravi hugged him warmly. “I know, bhai. I’ll be careful.”

After heartfelt goodbyes and one last round of advice, Aaravi set off, carrying with her the warmth and love of her family. She knew that wherever this journey took her, her family’s unwavering support would be her strength.
