Hello everyone welcome to new chapter ☺️☺️☺️

Later that night, Rakshit was restless. Aaravi had fallen asleep on the couch, her head resting peacefully against a cushion, unaware of the storm brewing around her. Rakshit stood by the window, his silhouette etched against the moonlight. His phone buzzed-it was Raj.

"Bhai," Raj's voice was low and urgent, "Rajashekhar's men are on the move. They're looking for a way to get to Aaravi."

Rakshit's grip on the phone tightened, his jaw clenching. "How close are they?"

"Not close enough yet, but they're watching. We need to act before they do."

Rakshit ended the call without a word. His mind raced, the fear of danger to Aaravi mingling with the fire of his fury. He turned, his gaze falling on Aaravi's serene face. His heart ached at the thought of her being dragged into his world of violence.

Walking over, he crouched beside her, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her innocence, her love, her trust-they were the only things keeping him tethered to humanity.

As she stirred awake, she looked at him, her sleepy eyes searching his face. "Rakshit? What's wrong?"

He hesitated, his inner turmoil evident. "Aaravi, I need you to stay close to me-always. Promise me you won't go anywhere without telling me."

"Rakshit, you're scaring me," she said, sitting up. "What's happening?"

He didn't respond but pulled her into an embrace, his hold almost desperate. "Just promise me," he whispered, his voice cracking.

"I promise," she said softly, stroking his back. "But you need to tell me what's going on."

Rakshit pulled away, his eyes heavy with unspoken truths. "Someday, Aaravi. But not now."

As she nodded, trusting him despite the fear in her heart, Rakshit resolved to end the threat once and for all. The shadows of his world would never touch her-he would make sure of it, even if it meant unleashing the darkest side of himself.

The following morning, Rakshit was up before Aaravi, standing in the kitchen as he brewed coffee. His movements were deliberate, his mind already strategizing. The threat loomed too close, and while he promised himself he'd shield Aaravi, he knew he needed to maintain a facade of calm around her.

Aaravi entered, rubbing her eyes, the gentle light of the morning casting a halo around her. "You're up early," she said, smiling.

Rakshit turned, his features softening momentarily at the sight of her. "Couldn't sleep," he replied, handing her a mug.

"You're worrying too much," she said, sitting across from him at the small kitchen table. "Whatever's on your mind, you'll figure it out. You always do."

Her faith in him both comforted and tormented him. He leaned forward, covering her hand with his. "Aaravi," he began, his voice uncharacteristically soft, "I want you to be extra careful today. Don't go out alone, and call me if you need anything."

She frowned. "Why are you being so protective all of a sudden? Is something wrong?"

Rakshit hesitated. "It's just... I've been thinking about how much you mean to me. I can't risk losing you."

Her expression softened, and she reached out to touch his cheek. "You're not going to lose me, Rakshit. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere."

Her words should have comforted him, but they only strengthened his resolve. As Aaravi went about her day, Rakshit left the apartment under the guise of work. He met Raj in a secluded location, the grim weight of their situation sinking in.

"Rajashekhar and Dhanraj are planning an ambush," Raj informed him. "They've planted men near the hospital site."

Rakshit's expression hardened, the ruthless mafia boss emerging. "No one gets close to Aaravi or the Kapoors. Call in reinforcements and find out where they're hiding. We end this before it begins."

As the day unfolded, Rakshit executed his plans with precision, ensuring every move was calculated. By the time he returned home, the threat was neutralized, though the scars of his actions weighed heavily. Aaravi welcomed him with a warm smile, oblivious to the darkness he carried. For now, she was safe, and that was all that mattered.

The sun set over the city, painting the sky with hues of orange and purple, but the storm inside Rakshit's mind didn't waver. He paced his apartment like a restless lion, his phone clutched tightly in his hand. Every update from Raj brought news of further retaliation from Dhanraj and Rajashekhar's camps. The subtle threat against Aaravi had shaken him to his core.

Raj's voice came through the phone. "Bhai, we've tightened security, but they're desperate. They know targeting Aaravi will break you."

Rakshit's grip on the phone tightened, his knuckles whitening. "They won't get near her. I'll turn their desperation into their graves."

As he hung up, Aaravi entered, her concern evident. "Rakshit, you've barely eaten all day. What's going on?" Her soft, caring voice was both his solace and his torment.

"I'm fine, Aaravi," he said curtly, avoiding her gaze. The image of her being in danger haunted him. He knew she wouldn't understand the dark, blood-stained world he belonged to.

"Fine?" Aaravi's tone turned firm. "You're not. Talk to me, Rakshit."

"I said, I'm fine!" he snapped, instantly regretting it as Aaravi flinched.

She stepped closer, her hand reaching for his. "Rakshit, please. Whatever it is, let me help."

Her touch melted some of his defenses, but his fear and guilt kept him distant. "Aaravi, I can't. I-" His voice broke, and he turned away, unable to meet her eyes.

That night, as Aaravi slept, Rakshit stood by the window, his silhouette framed by the city lights. The decision was clear-he would not let his enemies come close to Aaravi. If it meant becoming the monster they feared, so be it.

Tomorrow, he would send a message to Dhanraj and Rajashekhar that no one dared touch what was his.
