Hello everyone welcome to new chapter ☺️☺️☺️
As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the window, Rakshit’s eyes fluttered open. A sweet melody filled the air, its softness tugging at his heart. His eyes widened in alarm, assuming Aaravi hadn’t rested again because of him. He scanned the room from his bed, but she was nowhere to be seen. Instead, his eyes landed on a small recorder on the table, the source of the melody.
Curious, he stood up, picked it up, and paused it momentarily. But his curiosity got the better of him, and he pressed play again. Aaravi’s tender voice filled the silence, “Good morning, dear. I know you’ll be surprised by this, but I could feel you were very tense last night, so I recorded the song I sang and placed it here to give you a peaceful sleep. I’m tired, so I’m going to sleep late. Please make me a wonderful breakfast after you’ve rested.”
A small smile crept across Rakshit’s lips, warmth spreading through him. Aaravi’s thoughtful gesture reminded him of how she brought light to his dark world. For a man once consumed by shadows, he now felt her radiance in every corner of his life.
In that moment, Rakshit silently vowed to protect, cherish, and bring happiness to the queen of his heart—his Aaravi. Slowly but surely, she was changing him, showing him the meaning of love and peace. His life, once dominated by the chaos of the underworld, now revolved around her—a beacon of hope who had become his entire world.
Rakshit, refreshed and energized after his workout, entered the kitchen with determination. As he rolled up his sleeves, a rare softness lit up his intense features. His eyes softened as he thought of Aaravi, the joy of preparing breakfast for her filling his heart.
Rakshit, wearing a relaxed expression, expertly kneaded dough and prepared spices in the kitchen. Just then, Raj entered, his steps light, carrying a sweet smile.
“What are you doing, bhai?” Raj asked, surprised.
“Preparing breakfast,” Rakshit replied casually. “You’re up so early today.”
Raj grinned. “I wanted to ask if bhabhi would love rabdi. I’m thinking of getting it.”
“She has a sweet tooth. She’d love it,” Rakshit said warmly.
Raj’s excitement bubbled over. “I’ll get the best rabdi for her!”
Both felt deeply connected to Aaravi, the anchor of their happiness.
After preparing the breakfast, Rakshit carried a soft smile as he thought of waking Aaravi up. His heart brimmed with love, knowing how tirelessly she worked. As he walked toward her room, he felt a sense of responsibility and warmth, determined to ensure she started her day with care and affection, just as she deserved.
Rakshit entered Aaravi’s room and smiled at her childlike sleep posture, curled under a blanket like a little rabbit. The icy cold room made him frown in concern. Shaking his head, he switched off the AC, opened the windows to let in the sunlight, and sat beside her, brushing her hair gently with his fingers. Her serene face made him forget the world.
"Aaravi," he called softly. She stirred but turned to the other side. With a chuckle, he shook her gently. "Wake up, sleepyhead." She grabbed his hand like a baby, murmuring, "Just five more minutes."
Amused, he said, "Your appointment is today, and I made your favorite breakfast. Raj is bringing rabri too. Get up before it all gets cold." Still reluctant, Aaravi mumbled, "Not now..."
At that moment, her phone rang. Rakshit saw Aryan's name and brought the phone to her. "Your brother’s calling. He’ll definitely wake you up." She groaned, "Put it down. I don’t want to talk." But the call got answered.
Aryan’s booming voice filled the room. "You’re still sleeping? Appointment? AC off? Say something!" Aaravi muttered, "I’m sleeping, bye." Aryan shouted, "Cut the call, and I won’t talk to you again!"
Rakshit stifled a laugh. "Your brother’s winning." Aaravi glared. "You two are impossible!"
After more banter, Rakshit helped her up, laid out her clothes, and ensured she got ready quickly. Grateful, Aaravi hugged him tightly. "You’re my everything." Rakshit smiled, holding her close. Her warmth had become his world.
Aaravi entered the dining area and found Raj staring at a clay pot with such intensity that he looked like a detective solving a critical case. She chuckled quietly and tapped his shoulder. Without turning, Raj grumbled, "Bhai, go call bhabhi already! I can’t wait any longer; the rabdi’s hot now, and I don’t want it to cool!"
Aaravi tapped his shoulder again, amused. This time, Raj turned, startled to see her. "Oh, bhabhi! You scared me!" She raised an eyebrow. "What’s so fascinating about this pot? If you’re so eager, just eat it already."
Raj grinned sheepishly. "No, no. I want to wait for you. Sit here!" He shouted toward the kitchen, "Bhai! Bhabhi’s here! Bring the food!"
Rakshit emerged from the kitchen holding a tray laden with puris and chana sabji. Seeing them both engrossed in the clay pot like children eyeing a forbidden treasure, he burst out laughing. "You two are unbelievable. Is this breakfast or a rabdi fan club meeting?"
Raj shrugged. "Bhai, don’t mock us. Rabdi is an emotion!" Aaravi chimed in, "Agreed. Now serve us before it becomes history!"
Rakshit shook his head, lovingly serving food to his two "little ones." Watching them eagerly dig into their plates, he thought, They’re my biggest blessings—a light in my world of chaos.
