Hello everyone welcome to new chapter ☺️☺️☺️

The dim light from Rakshit’s private study in Mumbai painted the room in shades of gold and shadow. His phone buzzed on the desk, and a rare softness replaced his usual intense expression when he saw Aaravi’s name flashing on the screen. He immediately picked up, his voice laced with concern.

“Jaan, how are you? Are you feeling better?” Rakshit asked, leaning back in his chair. His fingers drummed anxiously on the armrest.

Aaravi’s calm voice came through, a smile evident in her tone. “I’m fine, Rakshit. You need to stop worrying so much. The doctors say I’ll be discharged in two days.”

“Are you sure you’re not in any pain? Did they check for complications? Should I send someone to talk to the doctors?” he pressed, his tone betraying his helplessness at being so far away.

“Rakshit,” she said gently, “everything is fine. I promise. You have to stop treating me like I’ll break.”

There was a pause before Rakshit exhaled, his voice softening. “I can’t help it. The thought of you being in pain makes me restless.”

Her laughter was light, teasing. “And here I thought you were the Mafia King—feared by everyone, restless about nothing.”

“Not when it comes to you,” he admitted quietly.

The words hung in the air, making her heart flutter. She changed the subject to ease the intensity. “Enough about me. What about the plans we discussed? Did you look into them?”

Rakshit glanced at the sketches on his desk. “I’ve been working on designs—revolutionary weaponry with safety measures and legal applications. These could be game-changers for defense forces, ensuring safety without unnecessary destruction.”

Aaravi’s voice lit up with enthusiasm. “That’s amazing, Rakshit! Your designs could redefine the industry. But we have to ensure accountability. We’ll need clear policies to keep everything ethical and transparent.”

“Policies?” Rakshit smirked. “Since when did you become a policy expert?”

“Since I decided to help you change the world,” she quipped. “Accountability, compliance, transparency—they’re not just buzzwords, Rakshit. They’re the foundation of trust. If we do this right, we can build a legacy that’s respected, not feared.”

Her conviction fueled him. “You make it sound so easy,” he said with a faint smile.

“That’s because I believe in you,” she replied warmly. “You’re brilliant, Rakshit. You’ve already built an empire; now it’s just about steering it in the right direction.”

Rakshit leaned forward, resting his forehead on his palm. “Do you know what keeps me going, Aaravi?”

“What?” she asked softly.

“You. Every idea, every step I take—it’s because of you. You make me want to be better.”

Her breath caught, and for a moment, her words failed her. When she finally spoke, her voice was a whisper. “Rakshit, you’re already better. You just needed to see it.”

He closed his eyes, holding onto her words like a lifeline. “When you’re by my side, I feel unstoppable. Promise me you’ll always be there.”

“I promise,” she said, her voice steady. “We’re in this together.”

Rakshit turned back to the designs. “These weapons won’t just be tools of destruction anymore. They’ll save lives, protect people. But we’ll need the best minds to make this work.”
