As Rakshit ended the call, a rare calm settled over him, replacing the turmoil that had consumed him. Leaning back in his chair, he closed his eyes, Aaravi’s words echoing in his mind: “I’m yours, Rakshit. Just yours.” Her voice, so warm and reassuring, had the power to soften the hardened mafia boss, grounding him in a way nothing else could.

He had spent his life building walls, cultivating fear and dominance, yet Aaravi had effortlessly broken through. She was his anchor, pulling him away from the shadows he had long embraced. With her, he wasn’t “Rakshit Khanna, the Phantom,” but simply Rakshit—a man discovering a gentleness he didn’t know he possessed.

Her laughter and affection made him feel normal, whole, and cherished. In her, he found his sanctuary, his light amidst the darkness. And while this love made him vulnerable, it also gave him strength—a reason to protect, to fight, to be better.

Opening his eyes, his resolve hardened. Aaravi had become his everything, and he would burn his world to keep her safe. The Phantom wasn’t disappearing; he was evolving, channeling his power to ensure their happiness. For Aaravi, he would protect. For Aaravi, he would destroy.

As Aaravi ended the call, her heart danced with joy, leaving her feeling as though she was floating on a cloud. The idea that Rakshit—the intense, composed, and seemingly unshakable man—could be so openly jealous and possessive over her filled her with warmth. His protectiveness, his subtle yet clear hints of jealousy, all seemed surreal, like something out of a dream.

She had only ever seen glimpses of his guarded world and still didn’t know exactly what Rakshit did. She knew he was powerful, influential, and mysterious, yet she sensed he kept her shielded from his reality for a reason. To her, Rakshit was simply the man who would check on her late at night, who would care enough to be bothered by her interactions with others, and who was unfailingly protective in ways that felt tender rather than intimidating.

As she held her phone, a small laugh escaped her. "He’s actually jealous of ‘Superstar Pratap’?” she murmured to herself, still in disbelief. She felt flattered, cherished, and protected in a way she hadn’t expected.

For Aaravi, this was a rare, precious gift—a glimpse into the heart of a man she’d thought was untouchable, who had shown her that he could feel vulnerable too, even if only for her. Her fingers brushed over her phone as if his presence lingered there, and she hugged it close, feeling her cheeks warm with happiness. His possessiveness made her feel cherished in a way that nothing else had.

"Who would have thought Rakshit could be this sweetly protective," she mused, her heart swelling. She didn’t need to know all his secrets, nor did she want to question the intensity of his emotions. For now, she wanted to bask in the feeling, the dreamlike bliss of knowing that, even in his mysterious world, she was someone special to him.

As Aaravi was lost in her thoughts, the sudden sound of her cabin door opening startled her. She looked up, seeing her brother Aryan stride in with a frustrated expression.

"Aryan, how many times have I told you to knock before entering?" Aaravi chided, crossing her arms but hiding a smile.

Aryan’s face softened only slightly, though a flicker of amusement was there. "Oh, really? Knock? You’ve been so out of it, daydreaming or whatever, that I've been calling you for the last ten minutes! I waited so long I almost thought I'd have to send someone to fetch you."
