Hello everyone welcome to new chapter ☺️☺️☺️
As the Kapoor family sat together over breakfast, Aaravi cleared her throat, drawing everyone’s attention.
“I’ve made a decision,” she began, her voice both determined and excited. “I’ll be going to Mumbai in the next two days to inspect some land options and meet with construction company for our new branch of Hope Hospital.”
The news hung in the air, and Aryan, her brother, immediately tensed. “Alone?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. “You’re going to Mumbai alone?”
Aaravi gave a small nod, but Aryan’s eyes filled with worry. “Aaravi, Mumbai is a huge city. What if something happens? It’s not exactly safe to wander around by yourself, especially when you’re looking at properties. What if you run into trouble?”
Rajesh Kapoor, her father, shared the same concerned look. “Your brother’s right. Handling such large matters alone is challenging, Aaravi. Maybe we can wait until I have some free time to accompany you.”
Aaravi looked from one protective face to another, suppressing a sigh. She knew they only wanted to keep her safe, but this was her responsibility, her project.
“Papa, Bhai,” she said gently, “I understand your concerns, but I’m not a child anymore. I’ve handled a lot at the hospital alone, and this project is something I’m passionate about. I have to start learning how to manage things independently.”
Riya Kapoor, her sister-in-law, saw Aaravi’s resolve and spoke up in her support. “Papa, Aryan, Aaravi has proven herself time and again. She’s always been independent and responsible. And if she got a well established construction company, they’ll support her with everything she needs.”
Priya Kapoor, her mother, joined in, offering her a supportive smile. “Yes, Rajesh, Aryan. You both need to have a little faith in her. She’s a grown woman, a doctor who has managed Hope Hospital. She’ll be in safe hands in Mumbai, and we’ve raised her to be resilient and capable.”
Aaravi gave them both a grateful look, but Aryan was still hesitant. “It’s not that I don’t trust you, Aaravi. I just… Mumbai can be unpredictable, and I can’t be there to keep an eye on you.”
Aaravi smiled at her brother, taking his hand gently. “Bhai, I know how much you care for me. But this is a journey I need to make on my own. I’ll be careful, I promise.
Rajesh sighed, finally softening as he looked at his daughter. “You’re really set on this, aren’t you?”
Aaravi nodded with determination. “I am, Papa. I need to see the land, talk to the team, make these decisions firsthand. This project… it means everything to me, and I need to be there to shape it.”
Aryan still looked unconvinced but finally let out a deep breath. “Alright, but only on one condition,” he said, eyeing her with a mix of reluctance and affection. “You call us every day. Morning, afternoon, and night. I want to know you’re safe.”
Aaravi chuckled, nodding in agreement. “I promise, Bhai. I’ll update you all on every step. And if anything comes up, you’ll be the first to know.”
Priya added, “And don’t forget to have some fun, too! It’s not every day you get to visit Mumbai. After all, it’s a city worth exploring, and you deserve to enjoy yourself a little.”
Rajesh, still holding a hint of worry, finally relented, pulling Aaravi into a warm hug. “Just remember, we’re always here if you need anything. But I believe in you, Aaravi. You’ve always been our strength.”
