"Legolas, I am glad you received my word from... Radagast." Father says.

"I wouldn't have come otherwise." I say.

Gimli glares at Thrandiul.

"I knew your father. I'm surprised you allowed yourself in my home." Father scoffs.

"Oh please, I'm here to support Legolas, not you, sprite." Gimli growls.

"Gimli." Aragorn glares at him.

"Let him be Aragorn son of Arathorn, I believe his anger is just, but his brains are lacking." Father says.

"Father." I hiss.

"I'm sure you know of the darkness that lies at our border." He says to me.

"Yes. I am aware of the spiders." I nod.

"It is more than spiders. It is a disease creeping closer and closer." He says.

"One that is wreaking of darkness." Radagast agrees with my father.

"Why have you not told me this sooner?" I ask.

"Why have you stayed away from me for so long?" He asks.

I look down.

"Leave us." Father says.

Radagast nods. Aragorn turns. Gimli looks up at me.

"Be careful lad. Don't say something that you will regret." Gimli says.

I nod. They turn and exit. I look at my father.

"I do not wish to fight." I look down.

"Then show your father respect. We have much to discuss." He says.

"I know." I say .
