"Of course. Please." I nod.
He pulls of his shirt.
"You do smell foul." I say.
Aragorn chuckles. He pulls off his pants as I turn my head. He slips into the water.
"It is colder than I thought." Aragorn says.
He flinches in the water. I let out a breath. He flays his arms around like a wounded fish. I have never seen him swim. Can he even swim? He slips and his head falls into the water. I let out a small chuckle.
"The rocks are slippery than most." He spews out.
I look down. There really isn't much to smile about.
"Are you alright?" He asks me.
"I have a brother that I had no idea about. It is a nagging thought gripping me." I answer.
Aragorn swims closer to me.
"Perhaps you should heed what he has said. Perhaps you should talk to your father when we get back." Aragorn says.
"I will not go back just yet. I must go to Rivendell to seek the wisdom of Lord Elrond." I say.
Aragorn looks at me in surprise, but he nods.
"We will handle the spiders and make sure they will not set foot in the woods of the Mirkwood Elves again." Aragorn says.
"Please do not tell my father about any of this." I say.
"Cin gar- nin peth." He says.
(You have my word.)
I nod.
"What is going on? A bath and no one invited me?" Gimli huffs as he walks over.
"Would a smelly dwarf show his courtesy by bathing?" I turn and grip the ledge.
"Hmmmph. Well, an elf would know a lot of courtesy I imagine like abandoning a tribe." Gimli huffs.
I throw my hand out. The water splashes him. I let out a small chuckle.
"Come on Gimli. Get in the water." Aragorn says.
