"Nin hir Legolas, how fare are cin?" Lord Elrond asks.

He walks into the massive dome. I smile at him.

(My lord Legolas, how fare are you?)

"Thank cin an seeing nin, hir Elrond." I say.

(Thank you for seeing me, Lord Elrond)

"Please." Lord Elrond gestures. I walk up to the dome.

"What troubles you in this time?" Lord Elrond asks.

"How do you know I am troubled?" I ask.

"I do not, but you have answered it for me." Lord Elrond smiles.

I let out a soft chuckle.

"Come Legolas, tell me what's on your mind." He walks over.

I look down.

"I have heard there's darkness over Mirkwood. Is that what bothers you?" He asks.

"A bit. It's not that I do not know who. I do not know why." I say.

"Tell me, please." He says.

"I... I do not believe this, but perhaps you could tell me if this is real or not." I look up at him.

"I shall listen and tell you, if only you would tell me." He says.

"I... I've met the person who causes the spiders and the darkness." I say.

"And who is that?" He asks.

I sit down. The weight of this is starting to pull on me.

"Legolas, it will help you to tell me." He says kneeling at me.

I look up at him.

"Has father ever told you about... my brother?" I ask.

Lord Elrond jumps.

"Malachi's alive?" He asks.

I nod.

"So you know of my older brother." I say.
