"Thranduil, I am trying to be patient but what exactly are you not telling me?" Gandalf asks.

I look down.

"I will not judge or state an opinion." Gandalf says.

"I know you won't." I look up.

"Thranduil, I do not ask for complete details. This is not for me. This is for your son, both of them." Gandalf says.

"Malachi was strong, but too strong. His heart was colder. He was... unfortunate." I say.

"I understand his darkness Thranduil, but I do not understand the root." He says.

I turn my head. The wind is picking up. I can see them near the river. They are getting ever closer. Both my sons are in danger. Malachi was strong but he was too strong. He was a predator that has a blood thirsty mind and desire. Too think that Legolas is in terrible danger because of me, I should've killed him when I had a chance, but how can I kill my own son?

"Come now Thranduil, we will surely gain on them. Besides Aragorn and Gimli accompanied by Radagast are already on their tail." Gandalf says.

"I shall hope you are right." I say.
