"Legolas! You're alive!" Gimli grabs my legs.

I can almost see the tears in his eyes. I wince as I hug him back.

"We best get you out of here." Aragorn puts my arm around his shoulders.

"Please." I gasp out.

He nods.

"Uh guys? What is that glow?" Gimli points.

We turn. I see something glowing red in the distance. My eyes widen.

"Run!" Aragorn yells.

I nod. We start turning and running. It's Malachi whatever he is doing, I am sure it's a spawn of evil. I saw him digging in the snow. I watched him pull out the bow. I have felt evil spawning off the bow like spores. It's a darkness that I have never felt before. I hear something fire. I see a black bird made of smoke flying towards us.

"What on earth is that bird?!" Gimli yells.

"No. It's something evil! Run!" Aragorn yells.

Will he ever leave me be? I have told him before; I am never going to become a dark elf. Not if I can help it. Yet the bird was getting ever closer. I see its eyes. The blood loss. I'm slowing them both down. Somehow the arrow will find its target. It's not me. It's Aragorn. I grip my arm. I'm sorry about this. I grab Aragorn's shoulder, and I throw him forward. I turn as the arrow pierces my shoulder. I wince. I let out a breath. My mouth fills with blood. I fall to my knees. Pain flashes inside my body.

"Legolas!" Aragorn grabs me.

I just hear yelling and Aragon moving me as the darkness around me sets in.
