GREEK TRAGEDY
:: xxvii. | never been so high

Chad has been ignoring Peyton the last few days. He just doesn't want to talk to her and the one person he wants to go talk to about this, she's dealing with her own. Ashely's usually his go-to, but he knows she's going through a lot which is why he doesn't bother.

Instead he decided to go to the one person who would be straight up with him about her opinion and that was Rachel. He wasn't fond of her that much, but they did have quite a unique relationship.

Once he pulled up to her house, he immediately got out the car and headed to the front door. Chad rang the doorbell and just a few seconds later, Rachel stood in front of him. She was quite surprised.

"Well, well, well, finally come to your senses?"

He walked passed her, his shoulder hitting her's, "You wish." He walked inside, "I need some honest advice. At least that's one thing i can count on you for."

She closed the door behind them, "About what?"

"If me and Peyton should stay together. You've been here long enough to know who that is. Anyway, here's the situation." Chad continues, "Peyton still has feelings for Lucas and I wouldn't call their sneaking behind Ashely's back dating, but that's what happened. Then I ended up with her, non exclusive arrangement. Now im just stuck."

"What do you mean behind Ashely's back?"

"Lucas cheated with Peyton." Chad nonchalantly spoke.

"Well fuck."

"Yeah, so what do I do?" He changed back to the subject.

Rachel began to the kitchen, "Show her what she'll be missing. There's no one like Chad Donovan and let her know how you feel. Don't want to wait too long for that one. That's why I took the opportunity that I did."

Chad leaned on the island as Rachel opened the fridge, "You mean love bomb Ashely then left right after?"

Rachel pulled out a water bottle and tossed it to him, "I wanted her to at least know that I love her." She turned back around to grab her a bottle as well, "And I didn't say anything about me leaving because I hate goodbyes."

Chad nodded, "Thanks, I guess." He began to head out the kitchen to the front door.

Rachel followed behind, "If I didn't date Ashely first, do you think I'd have a chance?"
