Tetris wakes up in a cold room. The doctor’s footsteps echo in the big room. She opens her eyes to see a familiar face. The black hair, brown eyes, and mustache look exactly how they were in the past. It is her father.
Tetris remembers when her father disowned her and her brother. He looks at a huge tree through the only window in the room. The window took up most of the space on the wall. “Why are you here?” Her father asks.
“Why did you leave us?”
“I gave you a chance to live a normal life. Now, I wil ask again. Why are you here? ”
“My mother died and my brother…”
“Your brother is the product of someone else’s experiment and your mother, a human!"
“If you are not our father who is and why did you leave us in the care of one of your guards?”
“I do not know who your father is. General Tame is your brother’s father. I know that is certainly a fact.”
“What are you trying to say?”
“I am trying to say that your mother came to the orphanage with you. Alza let her stay.”
“What?”
“Your mother wanted to get rid of you, but Alza convinced her to stay there with you.”
“Okay.”
“When your mother met me we did not get along, but she wanted a husband just like Alza’s husband. I felt bad for her. So, I played along when she told you I was your father.”
“How did General Tame meet my mother?”
“General Tame came to the orphanage on a foggy night. He needed a place to stay and I let him stay. Alza found out about him and kicked him out. She would not let him stay unless he had a child.”
“Who is General Tame?”
“I am sure that you will find out soon.”
“I have nothing to give you.”
“I have a family that I tried to keep away from this but I failed. Your brother is forcing my only daughter to travel with him.”
“You want me to tell my brother…”
“Your brother is looking for revenge and he is using my innocent daughter.”
“She is not innocent if she came from you.”
“How could you say that?”
“You did not think about innocence when you were experimenting on Alza or lying to me!”
“Why do you care about her?”
“I do not care but she is a good example.”
“I will not let you or your brother hurt my daughter. I will not let you ruin this cult, either.”
“Why do you care about the cult you are not one of the leaders of it?”
“I am one of the founders.”
The doctor walked to the foot of the gurney and he looked at all of the intravenous tubing coming from her arm. “That baby is going to kill you like your brother killed your mother,” he said. Tetris put her free hand up and showed him her middle finger. He slowly shook his head and he left the room.
