The echoes of their footsteps pounded in Divine's ears as she ran, adrenaline flooding her veins. The fear coursing through her was unlike anything she had ever experienced; it felt as if a primal instinct had taken over, urging her to flee from the danger lurking behind them.

“Where do we go?!” Rhea screamed, Divine covers her mouth "Shh shut up, and keep quiet rhea.." glancing back as the guttural sound grew louder, sending another wave of panic crashing through the group.

“Keep running!” Tom yelled at us, quietly.. He pulled Divine along. His grip was firm, grounding her amid the chaos. They dashed through the twisting corridors, hearts pounding in sync with the urgent rhythm of their breaths.

“Let’s split up! We might be able to lose it!” Georg suggested, desperately trying to formulate a plan.

“No! We can’t! We have to stick together!” Divine protested, fear lacing her voice. The last thing she wanted was to be separated, not now.

“Over here!” Bill gestured, motioning toward an open doorway that led into what appeared to be an old storage room. Without hesitation, they all piled inside, the door creaking ominously as Tom pushed it shut behind them, and locks it.

They huddled together in the dim light, their breaths heavy and labored as they pressed against the wall, trying to quiet their fears. The sounds outside grew closer—a chilling reminder of the danger they were in.

“What the hell was that?!” Jennifer whispered, her eyes wide with terror. “We shouldn’t have come here!”

“Shhh!” Divine hushed her, her heart racing. “We need to listen.” Jennifer was furious "it's all your fault div, you brought us all here!" Divine sighed "You agreed too! Stop blaming me.." Jennifer rolls her eyes.

Bill stopped them "Stop arguing, and focus in the situation right now. We have to find the exit again.. we're lost" Jennifer hugs bill, she looks scared..

As the group strained to hear, they caught snippets of noise from the hallway—shuffling footsteps, a low growl, and then the unmistakable sound of something scraping against the floor. The atmosphere was thick with tension as they exchanged anxious glances, the reality of their situation sinking in. They were trapped in a haunted hospital, and something was hunting them.

After a few agonizing moments, the sounds faded, leaving only an eerie silence in their wake. Divine let out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding, her heart still pounding in her chest.

“Do you think it’s gone?” Gustav asked, his voice shaky.

“Let’s hope so,” Divine replied, though her stomach twisted with anxiety. “But we can’t stay here forever.”

“I’ll check the door,” Tom said quietly, inching toward the entrance. As he reached for the knob, a cold draft blew through the room, sending chills down their spines.

“Be careful!” Rhea urged, her voice trembling.

Tom opened the door slowly, peeking out into the hallway. It was empty, but the atmosphere felt charged with an unseen presence. “It looks clear… for now.”

Divine took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. “We need to find a way out of this place. If we keep wandering, we’re only going to get ourselves into more trouble.”

Bill nodded in agreement, glancing around the room. “There has to be another exit or at least a way to find the main entrance.”

“Let’s stick together and retrace our steps” Divine suggested, her resolve hardening. “If we can find the reception area, we might be able to get our bearings.”
