Rhea and Gustav had escaped, and found themselves standing at the edge of the forest lonely, the weight of their loss hanging heavily in the air. The world around them felt surreal, as if they had stepped out of a nightmare only to find themselves in a different one.

“Do you think we’ll ever be able to forget?” Gustav asked, his voice barely a whisper.

Rhea shook her head, tears spilling down her cheeks. “How can we? Divine, tom, jennifer, bill and.. and georg they're everything. they're the light in the darkness.”

The forest felt hollow, echoes of laughter and joy now replaced by an eerie silence. The memories of their time together flooded back, each moment a bittersweet reminder of what they had lost.

“Every time I close my eyes, I see them” Rhea confessed, her voice breaking. “I see their smiles, laughter.. memories and now it’s gone.”

Gustav wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close as they stood in shared grief. “We have to carry them with us. We can’t let their memory fade,” he said, determination lacing his voice. “We owe them that much.”

But the ache in Rhea’s heart felt insurmountable, the weight of their loss pressing down on her chest. “What if we never heal?” she whispered, the vulnerability spilling from her heart.

“We will,” Gustav promised, though uncertainty loomed in his voice. “But it’s going to take time. We have to be there for each other.”

With a heavy heart, they began their journey back to the world they once knew, the shadows of their friends’ laughter forever etched in their minds. Each step felt heavier than the last, a reminder of the fragility of life and the bonds they had formed.

As they emerged from the forest, the sun began to rise, casting a soft glow over the horizon. But even the beauty of the sunrise couldn’t chase away the darkness that lingered in their hearts.

“Let’s make a promise,” Rhea said, her voice trembling. “A promise to live for them to keep their memory alive in everything we do.”

Gustav nodded, tears glistening in his eyes. “I promise,” he vowed. “We’ll honor them in every moment we share.”

And as they walked forward, the burden of their grief felt a little lighter, their hearts slowly beginning to heal. But they knew that the scars of their experience would remain, a reminder

Rhea cried "Forever in our heart Divine, Tom, Georg, Bill, Jennifer.."

Gustav sobs "Our eternal goodbye, we love you guys.."

; we're not coming back...
