... courage..
The air felt suffocating as Divine and her friends sprinted down the corridor, hearts pounding and breaths coming in quick gasps. The sound of heavy footsteps behind them sent chills down their spines, but they pushed forward, driven by sheer instinct to survive. Just as they rounded a corner, Divine glanced back, her heart sinking as she saw Bill lagging behind, struggling to keep pace.
"Bill!" She shouted, panic rising in her throat.
"Keep going!" he yelled back, trying to catch his breath. But the urgency in his voice was clear-he was slowing down, and the two men with the torn faces were gaining ground.
"We can't leave him!" Tom cried seeing hs twin brother getting tortured.., his eyes wide with fear. "We have to help him! BILL NO!"
"Tom, we can't risk it!" Rhea shouted, urgency tinging his voice. "We'll end up caught too!"
But Jennifer's expression hardened, her gaze fixed on Bill, who was now panting heavily, sweat glistening on his forehead. "I won't leave him! I'LL SAVE HIM FOR YOU TOM." she declared, determination flooding her veins. Before anyone could stop her, she broke away from the group, her heart set on rescuing Bill.
"Jennifer, no!" Divine screamed, reaching out for her friend. But it was too late. Jennifer had already dashed back down the corridor, leaving the others behind.
"Jennifer!" Tom called after her, frustration and fear mixing in his voice. "You'll get yourself killed!"
Jennifer didn't look back; her only thought was Bill. She could see him ahead, still fighting to keep distance between himself and the two men who were rapidly closing in. The urgency in her chest surged, propelling her forward as she shouted, "Bill! I'm coming!"
"Jennifer, don't!" Bill shouted, his voice desperate. He turned to see the men gaining on him, their jagged axes glinting in the dim light. "You need to get out of here!"
"I'm not leaving you!" Jennifer insisted, her heart racing as she closed the distance between them. She reached him just as the two men rounded the corner, their grotesque faces twisting into sinister grins.
In that moment, time seemed to freeze. Jennifer's heart thudded loudly in her chest, and she felt the heat of fear wash over her. Bill's eyes widened as he realized the danger they were both in.
"Run, Jennifer!" Bill urged, desperation flooding his voice. But she refused to back down. Instead, she stepped in front of him, facing the two men who were now just a few feet away.
"Get away from him!" she shouted, her voice shaking but resolute.
One of the men lunged forward, swinging his axe with a wild ferocity. Jennifer instinctively pushed Bill to the side, and the axe swung down, narrowly missing him. Instead, it struck the wall, splintering the wood and sending shards flying.
"Stay back!" Jennifer screamed, adrenaline surging through her veins. She felt the adrenaline-fueled bravery take over, the instinct to protect the person she cared for overriding her fear.
"Jennifer, no!" Bill cried out, horror dawning in his eyes as he watched her stand her ground.
But Jennifer was resolute. "If you want him, you'll have to go through me!" she yelled, adrenaline coursing through her. The two men paused for a moment, surprised by her defiance.
"Foolish girl," one of the men growled, his voice low and menacing, a twisted smile spreading across his face.
As they advanced, Jennifer prepared to fight, knowing she might not make it out alive. "I won't let you take him," she declared fiercely, her heart pounding in her chest as she braced herself for whatever was to come.
Bill, paralyzed by fear and admiration, shouted, "Jennifer, don't! You don't have to do this!"
But Jennifer's heart was set. The moment felt like an eternity as she steeled herself, waiting for the inevitable clash. In that split second, everything around them faded away-the darkness of the hospital, the sound of their friends screaming in the distance-until it was just her and Bill.
Bill and Jennifer are hanging in the floor.. with blood
With a surge of courage, Jennifer pushed Bill towards the exit, her heart racing as she shouted, "Get out of here! I'll hold them off!"
"No! I'm not leaving you!" Bill shouted, his eyes filled with desperation and fear.
The men laughed, their twisted grins sending shivers down Jennifer's spine. "You think you can save him?" one of them taunted. "You'll just be another victim."
But Jennifer refused to listen to their taunts. She could feel the warmth of tears pooling in her eyes as she faced them, knowing she might not make it out alive. "You won't take him!" she yelled defiantly, adrenaline fueling her fight.
The men lunged again, and this time, Jennifer didn't hesitate. She dodged, managing to land a punch on one of them, but it barely fazed him. They closed in, and as she fought back, she could feel Bill's presence behind her, urging her on.
But the odds were against them. With a swift motion, one of the men swung his axe again, this time hitting Jennifer's shoulder, sending her crashing to the ground. Pain exploded in her body, but she gritted her teeth, refusing to give in.
"Run, Bill!" she cried, struggling to get back on her feet, but it was too late. The men advanced, their axes raised high.
Bill yelled "I won't leave you here!"
As Jennifer felt herself slipping, she locked eyes with Bill one last time beside her, her heart breaking. "I love you, I'll die with you bill.." Jennifer whispered tears falling down to her cheek.. she whispered, knowing she had done everything she could to protect the two man tortured bill..
Jennifer passed away with bill.
they're gone.
In that moment, everything shattered. The horror of the situation became unbearable as the silence echoed in the corridor, but there was nothing he could do. The fight was over.
