The sun shone brightly over Westbrook High as students spilled out of classrooms, chattering excitedly about their summer plans. Among them stood Divine, a vibrant smile on her face as she leaned against her locker, surrounded by her close friends: Rhea, Jennifer, Tom, Bill, Gustav, and Georg.
“I can’t believe school is finally over!” Rhea exclaimed, tossing her hair over her shoulder. “What are we all doing this summer?”
“We should go on an adventure!” Divine suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “How about camping? We could explore the forest, tell stories by the fire, and even sleep under the stars!”
“That sounds amazing!” Tom said, wrapping an arm around Divine's shoulders. “I’m totally in. Just the seven of us, right?”
Jennifer raised an eyebrow, skeptical. “Camping? For a month? What are we, little kids?”
“Come on, Jen! It’ll be fun!” Divine insisted. “We can make some great memories together.”
“I don't know…” Jennifer crossed her arms, still hesitant.
“Think of it this way: no parents, no responsibilities, just us hanging out!” Bill chimed in, grinning widely.
“Yeah! Plus, we can explore the abandoned hospital near the forest,” Georg added, his curiosity piqued.
“Okay, I’m in,” Jennifer finally relented, albeit with a hint of reluctance.
“Great! I’ll start packing!” Divine said, feeling a rush of excitement as she thought about the adventures that awaited them.
