Here I was with no phone being forced to walk to school, what kind of mother makes their child walk to school in this condition?
"Im sorry but I didn't appreciate your attitude yesterday, you can walk to school. " Angrily, I decided to stop by a convenience store on the way to school.
who knows how much time I had to make it to class?—all I knew was that my mom wouldn't have a reason for getting angry with me if I was late.
I arrive to school with no idea whatsoever what time it was, with a bag full of snacks
Upon arriving to the classroom, I note the unusual rowdiness as I began stuffing my snacks in my bag. Walking low to the ground— obviously expecting to meet my teachers eyes, I quickly noticed Kakashi's absence, I assumed it to be the reason everyone was energetic.
I gasped out a breath of relief, slipping into my seat as quietly as I could while Kakashi Sense entered the room at that very moment.
Slouched and lousy like always, he walks in like he had been the one on time while everyone else was merely early.
"Good Morning class, quiet down please."
"Late again Kakashi." Naruto called out with his feet on his desk.
"Am I?" He mutters lazily to himself as he flipped through a stack of paper.
Realizing Naruto had called him by his first name he lifted his head up:
"That's detention the next time you call me by my name."
we all knew that Kakashi had never assigned anyone detention: we couldn't tell if it was that he didn't care or he cared for us too much.
" Get to work you guys. . . You've got 20 more minutes of homeroom."
Suddenly, something hit the back of my head.
"Ow!" I hissed, turning my head back to look for the source.
Naruto sat a few seats away from me, enunciating the words "wish me luck."
I return the gesture with a smile, whispering "you'll do fine." with a thumbs up, to which he returned a nervous grin.
Kakashi clears his throat, adding an afterthought.
"Everyone. I just wanted to remind you all that your slips for the field trip are due today, this is the last time before applications are closed."
I turn my head towards Ino, who's already looking at me.
