Chapter 14: Cleaning the House.

After everything was in the house I cleaned out the refrigerator and then I drove to a store to get cleaning supplies.

A new mop, a new broom, glass cleaner, mop cleaner, dust pan,................the whole house was hardwood except the living room, so I didn't get a vacuum cleaner.

I also got new light bulbs, and new pillows for our bed.

I put them on the conveyer belt and the woman checked them out for me.

I thanked her and went back outside to my car.

I put everything in the trunk and drove to the grocery store.

I walked through the automatic doors and looked around.

"Hmmm what should I get??" I asked myself.

I saw the raisin bran crunch and the milk and grabbed those, I also got bread, peanut butter, jelly, pickles, fish, chicken breast, whole grain rice, gravy, a lot of seasonings, eggs, pancake mix, bacon, orange juice, spinach, sugar, coffee creamer, tea, and coffee.

I pushed the heavy cart to the counter and the man with the name tag that said Chester checked them out quickly.

"Have a nice day." He said to me as I said the same to him.

I drove home after everything was in the back seats and the trunk.

I put the food away immediately then after I started cleaning.

I blared Billie jean and started wiping off the counters and the stove. It was nice not having to worry about people yelling at me to be quiet.

I swept the floor and mopped.

After I was done cleaning I got my phone out of my pocket and called Paul and John again.

I know again.

I just thought they'd like to have dinner with me because well because they helped me move.

"Hello?" John answered as he picked up the phone.

"Hey, John it's me I was wondering if you wanted to join me for dinner at my house?" I asked.

"Oh, I'd love to but I don't feel very good." He replied.

"Is it from moving the furniture? Are you ok?" I asked.

"It's not how you think, I feel sick." He explained.

"Oh. That too bad." I said sadly.

"Maybe some other time???" He asked with a cough.

"Yeah, sure."

"I really do want to go I just don't feel good." He said.

"I know how you feel, well....... get better soon." I said to him.

I could hear him crack a smile.

"Ok, I will. Bye."

"Bye." I replied.

Well I didn't want to be lonely so I dialed Paul's number.

"Hey, Paul I was just wondering if you wanted to join me for dinner?..................At my house." I said before he could even say hello.

"Sure. I'd love to what time?" He asked.

"In about an hour???" I asked.

"Sure see you then." He said.

"Alright bye." I said back to him as I heard a click.

I hung up the phone, smiled and started on dinner.
