{ FLASHBACK }
Author's Pov There were only three days left until the infamous Halloween. This was Ivy and Armani's first time celebrating the holiday together since they had met for the very first time on Halloween last year. Ivy didn't particularly celebrate Halloween because, quite frankly, she was one of those people who didn't see the point. She couldn't grasp the concept of knocking on strangers' doors for a piece of possibly poisoned candy, all while wearing a costume that mimicked a fictional horror character who killed people for no reason.
It was ironic considering who she was dating, but that didn't change her opinion on it.
Despite not typically celebrating the holiday, Raegon nonetheless decided to drag Ivy and Armani to an old cabin her grandmother had passed down to her before she died. When Raegon was younger, she remembered her grandmother telling her haunted stories about the cabin as they sat by the fireplace eating candy. Of course, being the young, naive girl that Raegon was, she believed every word. But now that she's older, she obviously knows it was all just nonsense.
However, since they would all be busy on Halloween, they decided it would be fun to celebrate early. Ivy didn't see it as a celebration, nor did Armani. Quite frankly, she didn't want to be there, but wherever Ivy was, Armani was right by her side. She was attached to Ivy both physically and mentally and couldn't leave her side for anything.
Raegon wanted to make things more exciting, so she went as far as decorating the cabin and inviting three of her own friends: Kate, Jordan, and Chloè. Now that Raegon had her friends on board, Smiley had no choice but to dress up in a costume that required a mask to conceal her identity. Although she didn't want to and didn't think it was necessary, both Raegon and Ivy insisted on it. Eventually, Ivy decided to dress up as Tiffany Valentine and coerced Smiley into dressing up as Chucky.
"Do I really have to wear this? It's hot as hell under this mask, baby. I don't think this is necessary," Smiley whined, shutting the door as they both got out of the car. They had finally reached the cabin, which was tucked away halfway into the woods. Smiley sighed, feeling the oppressive heat under the mask, and looked around at the dense forest surrounding them.
"Yes, it's absolutely necessary. If being hot is your only concern right now, then we need to rethink our strategy," Ivy muttered sarcastically, adjusting the itchy costume she wore, her breasts nearly spilling out of the tight dress. Smiley tilted her head, eyeing Ivy with a smirk appearing across her face from behind the mask as she admired the woman standing in front of her.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ivy asked, grabbing Smiley's hand as they walked up the path leading to the cabin. Although she couldn't see Smiley's expression behind the mask, Ivy could sense when she was receiving the heated gaze.
"I'll show you."
Ivy gulped, and after that, they fell into a tense silence. The only sounds were the twigs snapping and the leaves crunching beneath their feet as they made their way up the path. Finally, they reached the front door, and Ivy knocked. Not even a second later, the door swung open, revealing Raegon in a nurse costume that accentuated her beautiful curves and thighs.
