Today was Zelda's 16 birthday, so she can finally go to the spring of wisdom. Only Dorf and Link allow her to go to the spring, so the champions stay at the bottom of the stars. Zelda prays in the spring while Dorf and Link stand on the shore. Lucky Link makes all three cold-resistant foods so they don't freeze to death. After what felt like forever, they could think that their cold resistance was wearing off." I'm calling it. We have to go, Zelda." Dorf said, But Zelda shook her head." No! I can't fail; I can't be the only one out of the three of us who can't access their power." Link puts his hand on her shoulder." We need to leave, or we will freeze." Tears fell down Zelda's face. She knows when Link used his voice, he meant whatever he said.
When they got to where the champions were, Zelda couldn't look them in the eyes." Anything." Urbosa asked, but Zelda just shook her head." What do we do now?"Rivaly asked. Mipha stepped up." I access my power by thinking about what I love most." But they were cut off by a loud explosion and shaking. They all looked to the source of the blast and saw a huge mass of malice coming out of the castle." Calamity Demise! He's here." Dorf yelled." Come on, we must go to the divine beasts." The chaplains run off, ready to fight.
It all went sideways. Demise had taken over the guardians, and now Zelda wished that she hadn't fixed up so many of them, that they were not attacking, and that the champions were dead. Link, Dorf, and Zelda ran through a forest in the rain. Both Link and Dorf had their weapons at hand. Zelda trips and falls. The boys stop and run up to Zelda." This is all my fault. None of this would have happened if I'd just gotten my secured power to work." Zelda collapsed into Links's chest, having a breakdown in Links's arms. A guardian suddenly appeared. Link jumped up, taking the attack head-on. The link was thrown back.
Zelda runs up to him while Dorf tries to defend the guardian." Link, please don't leave me. I love you." Zelda hears the guardian is ready to attack. She turns and sees that Dorf is not going to make it. She can't lose the person she considers her brother." No!" Suddenly, Zelda unlocks her sacred power, stopping the guardian. Just the two Shika members appear." Princess, we are here to help." Zelda calmly approaches." Take the link to the shrine of resurrection. I know what I need to do." Dorf grabs Zelda's hand." Hey, sis, I'm coming with you. You need as much power as I can give you for what you will do next."
