"You might die before even passing these hallways," fain came into light, his voice echoed, sharp and venomous, followed by a low, unpleasant chuckle.

Both boys froze up for a second as they watched fain emerge from the shadows.

"Who the fuck are you- Ah no matter, chaos attack!" Makoi ordered

From the darkness behind him, Chaos came forth, His once hot pink eyes now blood red, they burned faintly as he stepped forward, his presence making the air feel heavy.

"Mh? Chaos? You're his demon?" Fain seemed to be familiar with the demon who stood in front of both boys

"I need you to step a side," Chaos spoke, uninterested in friendly chatter with fain

"No can do, bud," fain stood his ground,planting his hands in his pockets as he casually shrugged

"I wasn't asking..." Chaos eyes flared red as he calmly approached fain

Chaos placed his hand on Fain's shoulder, and in less than a second, a deafening boom blasted through the hallway. Fain’s body rocketed backward like a ragdoll, slamming into the wall with enough force to leave a deep dent. His body hung there for a moment before it dropped, disappearing into a swirl of dark green light.

"Chaos, you know that bastard?" Kane  asked raising an eyebrow

Chaos rubbed the back of his neck, looking mildly irritated. "Maybe. It's hard to keep track of every asshole I’ve done business with."

"Wow, and I thought you like us chaos," Fain's voice purred behind them.

Makoi and kane whipped around, only for a blinding burst of green energy to fill the air.

"What the hel-" Kane's words were cut off as he and makoi were thrown to the ground by the sheer force of it, the light scorching their vision.

As the boys scanned the second floor, they noticed how abandoned the place really was.

"Ok, I'm getting pissed off. How are we supposed to find princess this dump!" Winter groaned, leaning heavily against a cracked window frame

"Patience," Jin replied with a sigh, lowering himself to the ground. He ran a hand through his hair, visibly exhausted. "Are we even sure this is the right place?"

"Hm? Where’s your brother?" Winter asked as he noticed Jun wasn't with them

"I don't know and currently don't care, I wanna find darling, kick some ass and then go home."

"Right, ma-" before Winter could finish his sentence and loud thud came from one of the rooms

Tendrils of shadow-like energy flowed from the man’s body into Jun’s outstretched hand, his expression calm but eerily detached. The duplicate squirmed weakly on the floor, his skin pale, and his breath labored.

"Jun, what the hell are you doing?" Jin demanded, shoving his brother back.

"He didn't wanna talk, so I was slowly drain his life force. Is that a problem?" Jun asked as he tilted his head

"Who would want to talk to you? Anyway you listen to me ok?" With a swift motion, jin pressed his boot against the duplicate’s chest, pinning him to the floor.
