The silence was troubling, almost nerve-wracking. I was so used to the noise, the chaos, the shouting. I used to beg for silence. I used to pray for peace.
And now… it's quiet, but I don’t like it. Not one bit.My body felt cold, unnaturally cold. I knew something was wrong. That’s why I kept my eyes shut. But this feeling... this unsettling, creeping sensation gnawed away at my insides. I couldn't ignore it anymore, I had to look.
I wish I hadn’t.
God, I wish I hadn’t.
Because what I saw… made me want to rip my own eyes out."...Makoi? Hey, hey, wake up, come on, stop playing," my voice shook violently as I cradled him in my lap.
His body was limp, his blood soaked my hands, makoi was covered in it, drenched, and it wouldn’t stop pouring.
"Jin? Jun? Winter? Blue? Kaiser! Come on, guys, wake up, please? You can't leave me alone!" I called. I cried, but no one opened their eyes. No one responded
Blood was everywhere.
It pooled around us like a sea of sin, the stench unbearable, like iron burning on a stove, metallic and thick."No, no, no! This this is a nightmare I need to wake up! Please wake...up, wake up!!!" My scream just drifted in the darkness
“It’s not a nightmare...”
The voice came from behind me.I turned slowly, dreading what I would see.
And I was right to fear it.
Kane was kneeling with a knife pressed against his throat. And despite everything, even in that horrific moment, he smiled.
It was a twisted, unholy grin."It’s the future. It’s fate." Those were his final words before a swift slash of the blade was heard
I flinched. i couldn’t watch.
But I couldn’t unhear the thud of his body as it hit the floor.A whimper escaped my lips as I turned my face away.
"This is the inevitable. You can't change it."
Rough hands seized my chin, forcing me to look up.
The person standing before me... was me, the old me.
Meanwhile 3rd person
Outside the door was a battle that shook that building to its core, Jun and Winter were engaged in destructive combat with fain duplicates that just kept appearing.
"Of course, because nothing is ever that easy," Jun cursed, dodging debris.
"You young people are always in such a hurry," Oden drawled. "But none of you are going to survive this. I’ve planned and schemed for years. No matter what you try, the ending will remain the same."
"Oh right, because you’re old and wise and know the future?" Blue snapped, glaring.
He stepped forward.
"I know if you take any more steps, I'll break all your bones."
Blue didn’t flinch instead. He stepped forward again, then a sickening snap echoed through the room.
"Blue! Goddamn it, what are you doing, kid?!" Jin shouted.
"Shut up. I’ve had worse," Blue muttered, his arm visibly shaking as he held it in pain.
Before anyone else could speak, a loud boom shook the entire building.
"You boys are so destructive," Orion’s voice rang out. "You’re ruining my family home."
Jun was suddenly thrown into the room, his body slamming hard into the wall.
"Ah, fuck... haa... this dude’s insane in numbers," Jun groaned as he peeled himself off the impact.
