Zoey met up with her friends, all suddenly having a craving for a cup of coffee at the Talon, even though she wasn't close to Lana, she still likes the discount she gets there for reasons she does not question. Cheap food was cheap food.

Once they arrived, she saw her brother with his friends from the other side and waved. He returns it and goes back to his circle.

Zoey and her group sat at the other side at their usual table after receiving their order and began to discuss last night's events as they ate. Especially the 'act', which Zoey had found out from Clark was actually an act of a crime scene.

"I can't believe they called it an act though? I mean what kind of act involves a dark moment of silence and then-Bam!- two acrobats on the floor, one still at the top of the trapeze. Like what's the deal?"

"Maybe it was just a last-minute decision." Zoey said. "All acts can't just be the same."

"Yeah, well I just wish there was more." Howie leans back in his seat and munches on his muffin.

"Well, you go ahead and sulk away, imma get another chai." Zoey gets up and heads to the barista's station.

"Hey Bea." She greeted the worker behind the counter.

"Zee, usual?"

"Always. And make it a decaf, please, I had way too much caffeine today."

"Sure thing."

They chatted a bit as Bea makes the order while two more clients came into the Talon, marveled by the café's décor and lively environment.

"Retro." Clay hums.

Dick, who still had his sour look since opening night, merely shrug a little by Clay's comment on the restaurant.

"Aw come on, Dicky, police said they're investigating it, so we'll take their word for it."

"I just wish I could do something about it." Dick said.

Dick tried to figure out what had happened that night and had his parent repeat their story over and over, yet it still didn't make any sense. The areal silk was nowhere near the trapeze and the show lights exploding had no trace of any electrical fuse, if anything it was so busted that there were burning marks on it.

Clay pursed his lips, since opening night Dick has been in a bad mood lately. He and his parents were a little worried about the boy since the police left. Then his eyes landed on the distraction the boy needed to take his mind off this obsession and stress, just by the barista's counter.

"Well, there's something else you could do."

"What?" Dick looks at him hopefully.

Clay nodded to the other side of the room and Dick follows to where he was gesturing. His posture straightened when he understands what Strong Man meant.
