". . . Zo." Lex whispers in astonishment.
Zoya shifted her feet in her spot, feeling very uncomfortable by the way this earth's Lex was looking at her.
"Mommy!" The little toddler says in glee and runs up to Zoya to hug her by the legs. The act alone made Zoya froze in her place and her hands up in such an awkward manner. Looking down at the child and her dumb big, cute eyes that reflected her own but filled with such innocence that she didn't have the heart to remove the child off of her.
Luthor B stalks towards her like she was a deer in the forest, and he tries to avoid startling. He reaches out to touch her cheek.
"How is this possible." He whispers.
"Lex." Clark B calls to him in a warning tone, stopping Lex from touching Zoya, unwaning him to make things any difficult as they already are.
"What the hell is this, Kent?" Lex glares at his brother-in-law. "Who the hell are these people?"
"None of your business." Zoya responded, ignoring the gob smacks expressions from her teammates, having the nerve to even be defensive about their mission to a man whose dead wife looks exactly like Zoya.
"No. You. . .you shouldn't even be alive." Lex pointed at her in an accusing way. "Clark, I'm gonna ask again, who are they? Who is she?!"
But before any of them could utter another word, another voice broke out.
"She's nothing of importance."
They all turned to the voice and saw the speaker. Fear rushed through the invaders when Luthor A stood there with the book of Destiny in his hands.
"But then again. None of them are. Only him." He looks at Clark B with a calculated look.
Clark B stood in front of the group protectively, despite not having any powers.
Zoya once again brought out her sword and brought Mimi behind her. Whoever daughter she was, it would not matter. No child should ever be in the middle of whatever is coming for them.
"Mommy?" Mimi looks up at her.
"I'm not-" Zoya couldn't even finish her sentence when she saw the child's eyes. They were the exact same color as her own.
She takes a deep breath to stop herself from snapping at the child and give her an encouraging look. "It'll be okay, little one."
Mimi nodded and hugged Bummer tightly.
Zoya looks at Lois. "Lois, take the girl and Iris back to house and get everyone out. Now."
Lois left without any argument and Iris tries to warn Zoya.
