The evening air is a symphony of distant car horns and the occasional shout from the streets below. The city lights twinkle like stars that have fallen into the concrete jungle. Michael pulls out a small flask from his pocket, passing it to her. "Want a sip?"

Brooklynn hesitates for a moment, the memory of her mother's lectures about the dangers of underage drinking flashing through her mind, but she decides that tonight she needs the escape. "Why not," she says, taking a swig, feeling the warmth of the whiskey spread through her chest like a comforting blanket. They sit there for a while, sipping from the flask and watching the world go by, their laughter echoing off the rooftops. The whiskey loosens her inhibitions, and she starts to feel a sense of freedom she hasn't felt in a long time. Michael tells her about his latest art project, an abstract representation of their friendship. She nods along, entranced by the passion in his voice, the way his eyes light up when he talks about his art. Brooklynn leans closer to him, her gaze lingering on his lips. "You know, Mikey," she says, her voice a little slurred, "You're pretty hot. "Michael laughs, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Thanks, BK," he says, taking another sip from the flask. He knows she's just feeling the effects of the whiskey, but he can't help the warmth that spreads through his chest at the compliment.
