Chapter 10
Harry's POV:
When we started singing I told my self not to look down but I did anyways and I locked eyes with Leah. I could see the pain and sincerity on her eyes but I'm not sure what it meant. Jace said she didn't want to talk to me ever again. The pressure to confront her was rising so I had to get out and get as far away as possible. I really do love her but I can't be with her, I just know I would end up hurting her again.
I started running. Dodging everyone in my path. I got in my car and pulled out really quickly and drove to my flat on the other side of town. At least this way I'm far away from her so I won't hurt her.
Leah's POV:
I saw Harry take off so I had to follow him. Someone got in my way so I was slowed. By the time I got out side Harry was pulling out. And he was driving fast. There's no way I could catch him now. Great. But I'm gonna run after him.
It started raining but I'm not gonna let that stop me.
I've been running for a few hours now and I have no idea where I'm going now. It's getting really dark. I bet my dad is freaking out. My phone started vibrating
From: daddy
Where are you? Are you okay? Everyone's looking for you meet us out front now!
xx
Before I could reply my battery died. Crap.
The wind started blowing really strong and the rain continued to pour down. I don't have a jacket or anything so I'm probably gonna get sick. But I have to find Harry. We really need to talk. I have to hear him say that he doesn't love me. Otherwise I won't believe it's true.
The sun has completely set now but there's a park near by. I started walking towards the play structure.
"I guess I'll have to sleep here" I whispered to myself.
Simon's POV:
The boys finished up the song and everyone went looking for Harry. He was no where to be found.
"Niall go get Leah so we can all go looking for Harry" I commanded. Niall walks off to go get her. Ten minutes later Niall came frantically running back with a panicked look on his now extremely paled face.
"Leah's not here" Niall shouted.
"What?" I yelled "go tell the security guards to find her"
Everyone was now searching for Leah and Harry. How could I not have seen this coming? Where could she be. I hope she's not with Harry.
The sun has completely set now and we haven't heard from either one of them. I text Leah but she didn't reply.
Leah's POV:
I started shivering as I sat with my back against the play structure. I slept there for the night and woke up extremely cold. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 7:30 am. I was starving but I didn't have any money so I just sat there. Once I gained some strength I got up and continued looking for Harry. My search was with no avail. Minutes turned to hours and hours turned to one more cold night. I returned to the park and slept again hoping that I'd find Harry in the morning.
~next day~
I continued my search but found nothing. A woman offered me a muffin and I great fully took it and wolfed it down. This day went on just as the last two had. I was getting really scared and could only imaging what my father was thinking.
Night time came around again and I returned to the only place I knew in this area. The park. Some drunk guys were coming so I ducked down afraid that they would come over and do something to me. When I thought they had passed I got up and walked over to the swings. It's stopped raining but I can't fall asleep so I started swinging and kind of spaced out. The drunk guys were back and were coming towards me. I got up but my nerves kicked in and I couldn't move.
