"Garam?"

Yuju held her phone tightly to her ear. She waited until something finally came from the other line. The last thing Yuju would have thought was that Kim Garam would call her at this hour.

"Can we meet now?", asked the girl, sobbing. Yuju raised on eyebrow and looked at the time.

"At this time of night?" she looked around the park. The only light came from the lanterns, and otherwise it was pitch black.

"Yes, please," Garam almost begged her. Hesitantly, Yuju agreed and waited until Garam would send her her address. She was right, the project wasn't finished yet. But why now and not the next week?

Reluctantly, Yuju packed her phone in her jacket pocket and headed for Garam's house. She hated walking around Seoul alone at night. The experience from the day before yesterday still bothered her.

Heeseung suddenly came to her mind again, and Yuju had to giggle for a moment. When she called him helplessly and he started singing for her out of nowhere, warmth spread through her heart.

It was one of the things Yuju had recently discovered about him. Surely there was still a lot she didn't know about him, as both of their hearts are completely strange. She quickly realized that she was starting to learn much about him what made her curios about more.

After about a few minutes, Yuju arrived at the given address. She stood in front of very large gates that blocked a very large house from the outside world. She didn't know if whether she should ring now or not, or whether Garam would come out to her.

Before she could ring the bell, she saw the door of the large house open and that someone was running out. As the person came closer, she recognized Garam.

Yuju took a few steps back as the large towers in front of her opened and an angry creature ran out of them. The face of Garam turned its gaze in Yuju's direction and looked at her.

She looked as if she had been crying all day. Her mascara wasn't as soft on her eyelashes as usual, and her hair wasn't neatly styled and held back with a barrette. Instead, her eyes were swollen.

"S-shall we finish geography?" Garam asked stammering and forced a smile on her face. Unsure what Yuju should do, She sat there, looking at Garam. She had never expected to see her in such a state, or even thought she could be like this.

"Kim Garam!" someone shouted from the villa. Startled, Yuju looked at Garam who was running back and forth on the spot. She was pulling at her hair and looked as if she was about to have a mental breakdown.

Yuju quickly took Garam by the hand and pulled her behind her. The woman let herself be led by her. Yuju felt the trembling hand in hers and squeezed it even more. They came to the greatest Library throughout Seoul and Garam fell onto the steps leading to the library's large entrance doors.

A cold shiver ran down Yuju's spine. The fact that she's now able to witness Kim Garam's mental breakdown is a miracle.

But the funny thought immediately vanished. Garam sat despairingly on the stairs, staring into the void. Her makeup was now completely ruined.

Yuju carefully sat down next to her. She doesn't know what to do in such a situation. She's never had a friend with whom she could share all her sorrow.

"Yuju?" Garam asked in a hoarse voice. The named one turned her full attention to Garam. She cleared her throat:

"Am I really the chick you see in me?" she asked shakily. Yuju looked at her, confused. But she wasn't entirely wrong.

Garam looked into the distance again and narrowed her eyes.

"I can't do this anymore."

Suddenly, Garam began to cry. Yuju looked at her in shock. That was the last thing she expected. Unsure what to do, Yuju sat closer to Garam and pulled her into a semi-hug. Garam lay with one side of her face on Yujus chest and cried even more.
