Three

Sage felt like hell had come upon her. She hurt all over and her stomach was on fire. She opened her eyes but closed them again as the light was too bright. She felt like the flu had come over her worse than ever. She felt like every muscle in her body had been ripped and healed again. She tried to move but the pain was too unbearable. She opened her eyes and held them open against the pain in her head. She looked around the room. She was in a hospital type room. She wasn't in that awful place anymore.
"How do you feel?" Came a disembodied voice.
"Like hell." She grumbled, "Which hospital am I in? Can I get more pain medicine?"
"Your not in a hospital. You are in my clinic. Don't worry, we are nothing like those men who took you. Please lay still. I know that your body probably feels strange. But try not to move. Your injuries didn't heal as they should have."
"How long have I been out?"
"Less then a day."
"I can't possibly heal that fast."

"Who is that girl I fed last night? Why was I rushed out of there so fast?" Wade asked his mother.
"Her name is Sage. The reason you were rushed out of there so fast is she us unstable. She doesn't know who she is. Doesn't know about her bloodline. She was injured and needed to be cared for. Her wounds didn't heal as they had hoped. That's all. Please go relieve Bianca of the twins long enough for a shower and a meal. Take Nalla if need be."
He walked away from her and toward the nursery set up beside his sister's room. He walked in and saw Nalla and Bianca rocking the babies. He took Passion from Bianca and made her leave. He sat beside Nalla and began rocking his nephew.
"I heard you fed the injured victim." She said to him.
"Just fed her. Nothing else." He responded.
" What does it feel like?"
"What? Feeding someone?" She nods, "Like there's nothing else. Like your blood has a purpose. Like you were meant to feed that person. It doesn't hurt and doesn't feel avkward. It feels as of a final piece to a puzzle has fallen into place."
He finished telling her and he smelled dark spices and musk. What the? It wasn't possible. He hadn't felt anything toward the girl.
"Whoa man, you smell like my dad does toward my mom. Did you bond with her?" She asked.
"No. It can't be. She was knocked out. The drugs Jane had her on were keeping her out. It's not possible is it?"
"I don't know. I've never been mated myself. But I guess it can be possible. Your mom called to your dad before he mated her."
He stood and laid Passion down. How could he have bonded with a female before one month of being turned. Hell he hadn't been one week out yet. Two days and he already bonded. It could be just his body trying to adjust to the changes, he supposed. But who was she? He needed to visit her and figure that out. His mother had been keeping something from him. What was it? He needed to find out. He took Envee from Nalla and laid her down as well. He hoped Bianca hurried with her shower and meal. He wanted to see the female is in the clinic. Mathew walked in and Wade took his chance. He exited fast and quick. He went through the house and toward the clinic. When he arrived he heard moaning and looked in the window. It was the female. She was writhing in pain. He went inside without thinking and pushed her call button. He got a cool cloth and began patting her face and arms with it her stomach showed a large gash that looked black. She calmed some when he put the cloth to her stomach. The door opened and Jane stepped in.
"Wade what do you think you are doing?" She demanded.
"I came to speak to you and I saw her in pain. I came in and pushed her call button." He explained.
"Shes contaminated. That means you could be too. Your father will have my hide for this. You can't leave."
"She needs to feed."
"I see that. What I don't understand is why it's so soon after the first time. All we have left are human samples."
"Feed her something. Z survives."
Jane pushed the call button and barked out an order for Vishous and Wade kept patting her face with the cloth.

" Wade did what?" Demanded Beth.
"I know it's horrible to think about. But Jane believes she's not contagious. Whatever was done to her was done only to her. Two days max before he is released." Vishous said calmly.
"That's two days long. Why would he enter that room?"
"Because you didn't tell him the truth. Because he's bonded with her. Because he believes it's his body making him bond with her." Said Nalla.
