Her plan was finally coming together. Mary had gotten pregnant as planned and Sage knew the truth about her DNA. Now all that was left was for Sage to fall in love. Even that was working. She saw how she acted around Wade. With a little encouragement she would be falling before long. She knew it was risky interfering like this but it was the least she could do after all the heartache she caused Rhagw and Mary all those years ago. Who was she to tell them they couldn't have children? Who was she to lie to them? She had fixed Mary entirely. All along she could have had children. She could have had a child of her own. But she was greedy and wanted to watch Rhage suffer for killing her poor bird all those years ago. Now that time had passed and she saw how they mourned as more and more children were being born she knew it was time to fix her mistakes. She hardly ever admitted she was wrong hut when she did, it was because she was truely sorry and wanted to fix her mistakes. Rhage had accepted his curse forever in return for keeping his Mary. She shouldn't have allowed that either as she had already decided to save the dear Mary. She was very fond of Mary but she knew her hatred toward Rhage had worn on Mary. That's why she allowed her to become pregnant and why she allowed them to test Sages blood. She wanted them to unite as a family and learn and grow. Her next phase would be happening at dawn and she hoped it was well received before her planned visit in a few days time. She hoped that all was well and her admissions would be accepted.

Sage walked through the doors into the mansion feeling stronger and with more pep in her step. She felt amazing after a few more pints of human blood and some rest and she was ready to go out on the field again. She walked into the dining room and saw that Wade was helping clear the table. She missed last meal. Now she would have to wait until first meal. Wade looked up and her and she felt her body suddenly warm with desire. She wanted him. She felt herself walking toward him and pull him close. When her lips touched his she felt whole. Her body reacted by wrapping around him and clinging to him. He walked slowly out of the room and when he reached the stairs, he pulled back and began carrying her up the stairs. They were almost to their rooms when a male scream came from the direction of Mary and Rhages room. They took off at full speed ready to attack. They opened the door to see him rolling around in pain. Mary was frantically calling Jane and was freaking out. Sage knelt near her father and placed a calming hand on his cheek. He slowed his rolling and moaning and pushed his cheek into her hand.
"Shh you will be okay. I promise nothing is going to happen to you." She whispered into his ear. " Mary needs you, the baby needs you. Please stay with me. Jane will be here soon."
The door opened and Vishous and Zsadist came in followed by Jane. She stepped back and grabbed onto Wades hand. She watched as Jane tried to calm him enough to check his vitals.
" Sage, I need you. Touch him again. Calm him. I can't get a read." Jane told her.
She slowly walked back and placed her hand back on his cheek.
" Even though you don't want me around I still love you. Even though I didn't know you existed, I am here. I am not ashamed of anything that has happened since I came here. I am not afraid of anything. You have showed me that being afraid isn't worth it. Your story of your curse and how you kept it to keep Mary... Mom... It's admirable. Please stay with us." She whispered.
"Let's move him. His heart beat is erratic and his breathing is labored. He has an unusual fever and I'm concerned about this seizure like symptoms he's having. Let's get him to the hospital wing." Jane said.
Sage stepped back so the men could move him. She watched as they tried to lift him but he was twisting again. She closed her eyes and began to hum. He calmed enough to move him. They raced him through the house and into the hospital room she just vacated. She sat in a chair outside the room and waited. Wade sat beside her and held her hand.
" He will be alright. He is a warrior." He told her.
" But what I dont understand is if he was in pain why didn't the beast come out." Mary said from behind them.
"Did he upset the Scribe Virgin again?" Wade asked her.
"No. We were talking about the baby and how we were feeling about it, then he just fell to the floor in pain. I... I don't know what happened."
