Two

Sage knew there was trouble the minute they got her inside. They smelled the same as the men who captured her. They pushed her into a chair and tied her down. She heard voices outside and the men smiled. One remained with her while the others went out the back. This wasn't good. She fought against he ropes but couldn't move. The sounds of fighting came through the closed door. She heard grunts, gun shots, and yells. The jumped when the door burst open. Her heart stopped. The man who came in looked familiar. He had long blonde hair that matched hers. He had bright blue eyes that matched hers. He was tall and well toned. He looked every bit of handsome as her mother made her remember. He came running forward as a sharp sting hit her throat. She couldn't breathe. The pain in her throat was dimmed by the burning in her stomach as the knife dig into her stomach. She heard a loud roar and barely saw the man turn into a dragon with purple and lime green scales. His roar hurt her ears and she saw him eat the man who guarded her. She couldn't stay awake. The world grew black.
Mama I tried. Was her last thought as she passed out.

Jane walked into the room where her new patient was placed. She saw that the girl had lost a lot of blood. She also saw the black blood stain on the girls shirt. She ordered her husband to get Butch and ordered everyone else out of the hospital wing they had recently finished. She had a feeling the girl was contaminated. Butch came in and stopped.
"This can't be. No, tell me she isn't contaminated." He demanded.
"Thst is why you are here. We want to be sure. Rhage said he saw the lesser slice her open and then slice his wrist and put it against get belly. I need to know if her body is fighting against the change or not. How far contaminated is she?" Jane asked him.
" She smells like a pretrans with a baby powder addiction. I dont want to hill her. She won't turn out like me will she?" He begged.
"I need Havers. Please send Marissa for him. Until then I need to set up a quarantine around this room. I'm protected already as are the two of you but no one else enters unless protected. Havers. Now." She demanded.
Butch left and she began work on the girls cuts. The contaminated area wasn't bleeding anymore and she didn't like that. She grabbed a few syringes and drew a few vials of her blood. She really hoped that they could save her. The blood was black. She drew a few vials from elsewhere and labeled the locations on them. They too were black. The last time this happened Butch had Ben contaminated. The door opened and Butch and Havers entered the room. Both in protective gear.
"Blood samples?" Havers asked her.
"Three from the stomach and three for the arm. All black." Jane told him, "She's running a fever and the bleedings almost stopped. We don't have a supply of human blood around. We need some to transfuse her with."
"What do you have on hand?"
"Blood from the brothers. Some from the women and plenty from Biancas birthing. Are you suggesting I transfuse her with vampire blood and possibly trigger her change?"
"That's exactly what I am saying. I got by on Butch because I had a store of blood from humans. She is already close to her change. Diluting her blood further could halt her change. What have you got to loose?"

Rhage was worried. He had seen Havers arrive and knew Jane only called him in on special cases she knew nothing about. We're her injuries that bad? Had she gotten a lot of the lessers blood? What was happening in that room? He paced the length of the hall outside the hospital wing waiting on news. Was she his daughter? Wasn't she? How had the lessers gotten her? Will she survive? Questions flooded him and be wanted to be in that room if they needed him. The door opened to the wing and he saw Vishous come out. Vishous went right past him and into the medicine room, the one that housed the bulk of their medical medications. When he came out carrying a cooler marked blood, he knew somehing wasn't right. Something was off. He watched as he put on a hazard suit and reenter the room that housed his possible child. He felt a hand on his arm.
" Jane will take care of her. There isn't anything you can do right now." Mary said.
" They are wearing hazard suits, They need blood, and they brought in Havers. Tell me that isn't something serious. I saw what they did to her. I saw him cut his wrist and her stomach and force his blood into her. Mary what if he turned her?" Rhage asked her.
"Butch is in there. If they did he would have done his magic on her. I know they didn't turn her. She will survive. Havers and Jane will figure out how to save her and hopefully undo what that lesser did to her. I can only hope it's not too bad." She said calmly to him. "Come, lets get some food and rest. Jane will keep us informed."
She was right. He knew that. But the image of that lesser bleeding into that girl kept creeping up into his thoughts. He hoped she survived with her life and the change comes before they have to explain why she saw him change into a dragon.
