[A/N: In regard to adding more PJO characters, I'm working on it. However, I want them to flow naturally into the story. They aren't going to appear soon since I already planned out future chapters focused on Gotham. However, once those are done, I'm including PJO in a logical manner.]

Diana, clad in an elegant gown that accentuated her grace and strength, approached Percy with a warm smile. "Percy, I'm glad you decided to come," she said, her voice carrying a hint of sincerity that Percy found hard to resist.

"Yeah, well, I'm not exactly thrilled to be here," Percy muttered, though he knew Diana could hear him. He couldn't shake off his resentment toward her for not aiding demigods during their battles against monsters and Titans.

"Cool, cool, you don't want to be here. The sooner we enter, the sooner I'm with my friends, the sooner you leave. Capisce? Now, let's go already," Nina said as she dragged Percy and Sammy's hands and followed behind Diana. It was surprising how nobody had mostly noticed them, considering Diana was one of Bruce Wayne's long-term friends. "I'm going to go with Sammy. See you later, brother." The girl held Sammy's hand, merging with the crowd, and walked towards the food court.

Before Percy could stop them, they were gone. "I don't like him," Percy unintentionally said out loud. Diana just let out a laugh, understanding he was just being overprotective of his sister.

With the grace of the Amazons, Diana guided him through the sprawling estate, her words painting pictures of philanthropy and camaraderie amongst Gotham's elite. "Bruce believes in making a difference, in fighting the darkness with light," she explained in her voice, a melody that seemed at odds with the cacophony of Percy's thoughts.

Soon, they reached a group of men: one blonde with blue eyes and two with black hair and blue eyes. The latter two could be twins if someone wasn't informed and could not see subtle differences, especially in how they held themselves.

Bruce, with the carefree demeanor of 'Brucie Wayne,' extended a hand, his smile a façade Percy could see through with ease. "Diana tells us you've got quite the adventurous and kind spirit, Percy. Gotham could use a bit more of that," he joked, his eyes glinting with an unknowable depth.

"Thank you for having us, Bruce," Diana replied graciously, exchanging pleasantries with him before turning to introduce Percy. "Bruce, this is Percy Jackson. He's a friend of mine."

Before Percy could respond, another voice chimed in from across the room. "Well, if it isn't Diana Prince gracing us with her presence tonight." With his boyish charm and gaze, Clark Kent offered a warm smile to Percy, who stood by her side. "It's always good to meet Diana's friend. You seem young. Are you studying perhaps?"

Percy's gaze shifted to the source of the voice and found himself face to face with Clark Kent, the mild-mannered reporter from Metropolis. Clark's friendly smile faltered slightly as his gaze landed on Percy, sensing the tension in the air. The young man certainly had a look to him.

Diana smiled warmly at Clark before turning to make introductions. "Clark, this is Percy Jackson. Percy, meet Clark Kent."

Oliver Queen nodded in acknowledgment as he walked over with Clark. His curiosity was piqued, but he held back his questions. "And that is Oliver Queen," Diana introduced the blonde.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Oliver spoke as he extended his hand.

"The pleasure is mine," Percy replied with a confident smile, firmly shaking Oliver's hand. The names—Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Oliver Queen—were all familiar to him from recent headlines he had been researching, not used to the mortal world.

Percy navigated the conversation skillfully. His answers were polished but vague, his smiles genuine but more polite, always searching for an opportune moment to leave. When he unexpectedly spotted his university friend, Duke Thomas, Percy knew his chance had arrived. Duke's unexpected presence provided the perfect excuse.
