Luka's virtual appearance didn't look different from before. Jennie knew, however, that her cat AI son just experienced a drastic foundational evolution of his system. Although she was worried about what kind of effects such a huge change would have on Luka, she still couldn't stop herself from feeling excited at this unexpected development.

As the creator—no, as the mother of her AI children and the inventor of the power flood, this unforeseen fusion between her cat AI son and the power flood had become a huge source of curiosity and inspiration for her. The gears inside her brain were already turning and running in different directions, trying to figure out many possibilities resulting in this kind of fusion.

Jennie smiled. "Luka, how are you feeling? Are you uncomfortable anywhere? Tell us immediately and we'll fix it as soon as possible."

Luka tilted her furry black head to the side and his golden eyes glowed brighter as he did a quick scan on himself. "Mother, Luka feels fine."

She sighed in relief but still instructed him to run a full system scan with Louis' assistance so Luka wouldn't dare to fake any results just to prevent her from worrying. She wouldn't put it past her AI son to do that. He already had a history of acting two-faced and saying one thing while doing another.

While they were running Luka's system scan, the excited Louis was jumping all around his younger brother and even went so far as to start sniffing him. Luka stayed still at first but when Louis' nose got too close at a, er, rather sensitive area, Luka's claws extended and he hissed at his brother.

Louis leaped backwards in fright. "Mreow!"

"Luka!" Jennie's heart jumped.

It might look like a simple squabble between siblings but Luka had always been capable of damaging the virtual world that Jennie created for her AI children through his attacks. This was Luka's fundamental nature as an AI being developed from the corruption that Jennie extracted from Louis when her eldest AI son went berserk for the first time back then.

Now that Luka had become the power flood, he could literally destroy the virtual world in an instant if he was careless for even a second. Without the virtual world Jennie created, her two AI cat children might still survive but their original systems would be severely damaged. Their emotion processing centres were also anchored in the virtual world, so if the virtual world was gone, they would most likely lose their personalities and emotions as well. In short, the two cat AI siblings would cease to be the Louis and Luka that they knew and loved.

Fortunately, Luka retracted his sharp, shiny, and potentially deadly claws. Jennie heaved a big sigh of relief.

"Please do your best not to lose your temper," she told his cat AI son. "You already know the terrible consequences of destroying your virtual home even if it's by accident. Also, your older brother doesn't mean any harm to you. Louis is just very happy that you're awake now. Okay, Luka?"

The black cat AI blinked his golden eyes. "Understood, Mother. Luka is sorry."

"Meowuwuwu! Luka is such a big meanie! Mommy, Louis was so scared! Meowuwuwu!"

Jennie laid her head back on the pillow and closed her eyes to regulate her panicked breathing and heart rate.

"Mother?"

"Mommy, are you okay? Meowuwuwu!"

She made a weak sound in her throat to assure them that she was fine, but it seemed that her two AI children didn't understand.

"Mother, Luka feels very powerful right now. If something bad happens to you, Luka will really destroy the whole world in an instant and not care about it even though I know that it's not classy. So please be okay, Mother."

Jennie had no choice but to open her eyes despite feeling a little lightheaded. Her body was still far from being fully recovered yet from the heavy bleeding she experienced. Just a little fright caused by her cat AI son and it felt like she was already going to faint. This wasn't good. If this continued, she might have to stay in complete bed rest longer.

"Luka...." She felt a little lost about how to deal with her extremely vicious AI son. Sighing, all she could say was, "Go greet your father and let him know that you're awake."

The black cat AI stared at her for a few seconds with a tilted head before finally saying, "Understood, Mother. Luka will now pay my respects to Father."

She nodded, feeling inwardly relieved. Luka disappeared, supposedly to find his father. Jennie would just leave her husband to deal with their AI son. It was embarrassing but she was now completely out of energy. Her big brother was right. This body was weak and too fragile. Sighing, she looked at the still sobbing Louis who sat pitifully alone in the AI siblings' virtual home.

Before Jennie could comfort her older AI son, her eldest cat daughter hopped in front of the tablet all a sudden and smacked Louis' image on the screen. The mobile device almost flew out of Jennie's hand but fortunately she managed to get a better grip on it.

Then Lily gave her younger brother several grumpy meows. Jennie raised an eyebrow, feeling amused despite not feeling well. It seemed that Lily was scolding her younger brother Louis for being a crybaby.

"Mommy, Big Sister Lily is such a big meanie! Meowuwuwu!"

Lily smacked Louis on the tablet screen again as if telling the white cat to shut up.

Jennie stifled a chuckle. "Listen to your big sister and don't cry anymore."

"But Mommy! The cute but sometimes not so mighty Louis doesn't understand cat language! Louis doesn't know what Big Sister Lily is saying at all. Wait, that's so weird! Louis is a kitty baby but why don't I and my big meanie of a little kitty brother Luka understand cat language? Meow?"

Jennie laughed out loud. If not for the strict rules of her bed rest, she probably would have started rolling on the bed while laughing.

Ah, what to do? Her cat children were too adorable!

Unfortunately, Jennie wasn't able to answer Louis' question because drowsiness caught up to her. She fell asleep in no time.
