Amirlya looked at the tv in shock. She didn't know what to say or do.

"This just in, Hart Gullock has been arrested for the murder of his own daughter, Sandra Gullock. The twenty-one year old Instagram influencer was found dead after a suspected suicide attempt, jumping from the rooftop of a restaurant just twenty minutes from downtown. After the autopsy, doctors found a schedule 1 drug in her bloodstream, sylgotze, a whale tranquilizer that was banned from the United States back in 2016 for its harmful effects on humans,
after a zoo-keeper was found dead after using it for their substance abuse. It is said that detectives found the drug in their luxury penthouse, and in one of the water bottles Sandra drank from regularly. When searching the master bedroom, they found the bottle of sylgotze hidden in Hart's walk-in closet. The drug is deemed to have caused Sandra to fall from the edge of the rooftop after putting her in a lethal lethargic state. More details on the story are unclear, but it is said that Hart will be facing life in prison at the notorious ADX Florence in Fremont County, Colorado."

"Shits crazy." Anui gasped. Out of all people, they hadn't expected Sandra to die so soon.

Amirlya's eyes couldn't leave the screen, she watched as they broadcasted the images of the scene where Sandra had jumped from, flabbergasted.

Sandra was the same person that set her up to get raped, that set her up to get drugged. Being the person Amirlya is, she reflected on the many times she had cursed the girl, wishing she'd get karma for her wrongdoings.

A wave of guilt washed over her realizing what she had done.

"This is my fault Anui, I wished that  horrible things happened to her after that nightclub incident. I should've never done it, now she's dead, and her family is probably devastated right now!"

Anui looked at Amirlya like she had lost her mind, there she goes again, being delusional as always.

"Girl this ain't your fault, this is her father's fault. You don't have anything to do with this so stop blaming yourself over something that doesn't concern you. This is some white people shit, he probably found another woman and planned to kill his family as a result."

Although her words seemed harsh, Amirlya knew Anui was right, she couldn't blame herself, yet deep down she still felt somewhat responsible for the events that occurred.

Her mind went to June and how he was reacting to this situation. Was he sad? Was he blaming himself to an extent as well? Was this the reason she hadn't seen him?

The questions came flooding in and caused a migraine, she didn't know why, what, or how this came about.

What would this mean for June Vatican now? Was his contract with her over? She knew that Sandra was obsessed and that June had an obligation to fufill by marrying her. Although she was unaware of the legalities of it all, the reminder of the contract made her heart sink.

What was the point of trying to pursue her if June had to marry Sandra all along? But now, now that she was gone, would it change anything? Was the agreement now terminated? Or would a new bachelorette come and replace Sandra?

Another wave of guilt washed over her as she realized that she was making it about herself. June's disappearance had caused a fracture in her heart, she needed answers now but she also didn't want to come to a June first. When he was ready he'd come to her, and she promised herself that she'd kick him out of her life, for good...

Anui on the other hand shook her head as the news reporter rambled on about the situation.

It didn't make sense, Sandra had everything, well, nearly everything. And rich people were messy. She knew there was more to the story. Sandra's family were up there with the Vatican's when it came to business, why would she kill herself? Where was June during all of this?

As she continued to ponder, she couldn't help but think that June Vatican had something to do with all this.

And subconsciously, both of them were hiding the joy they had knowing Sandra Gullock would be no more.

Anui knew it was time, time for Jamirlya to finally lock in.
