June

If I can't have her no one will.

"You've been saying that for like six years now, it's time to move on, don't ya think?" Mo states.

Was I talking out loud?

"I don't recall asking for your fucking opinion Mo, worry about your own shit!"

He chuckles before replying, "You've been obsessing for way too long, give the girl a break. I used to support you but all this...it's too much June."

I don't care what he has to say. I'm NOT obsessed. I just have an undying infatuation with a girl who happens to not reciprocate the same feelings. She will soon, I just need to redo our conversation. Somewhere she won't get the chance to run away from me.

"This time it'll work, you've got to stop looking at the past, she'll come around Mo, just shut up and let me think."

He gives me a look of doubt but I shake it off. He could never understand my situation, how her stubbornness has led to this dilemma, how everyone is practically against me.

This is her fault, not mine.

SIX YEARS AGO....

June stared at the girl whose hands were in her pockets as she waited for class to begin. It was their first day of 8th grade gym and Amirya was prepared for a competitive game of dodgeball.

Little did she know that the boy from across the room was daydreaming about their future together.

June Vatican was a newcomer from Jordan, arriving just a few weeks before he got settled into school.

Within a few days he was already the talk of Georgina Junior High. Underdeveloped preteen girls came throwing themselves at him.

Did they put crack in the schools water fountain? He ask to himself.

June found it rather odd that these Americans acted so strangely to new students. Shortly after he'd fine his new mate Mohammed Nassan, who would lend a hand in protecting him from his swarm of 13 year old stans. He was the son of a family friend who his father had known back in Jordan.

It was only three days ago that he discovered the existence of Amirlya Lomami, a quiet girl who happened to be sitting outside the school bench. Right after he escaped from his fanbase.

Panting, his escape came at a halt as he tried to catch his breath, while holding onto the wall for support. Assuming Amirlya would glance up to look at what her gender deemed as the "God of Georgina", he kept her gaze on her as a cue to speed off.

Seconds passed and turned into minutes. He didn't know if his ego being fueled by the group of girls was messing with his head. Amiryla had yet to look up at him, instead she scribbled away in what seemed to be a journal.

'Strange' he thought.

Amirlya's oblivion gave June a moment to examine her features. Although  her head hung low, he was still able to get a good view of her diamond shaped head. She had freckles scattered on her nose and her hair was in box braids. Although around 3 in the afternoon, the only sunlight visible was casted straight onto her.

His breath hitched for a moment.

Without being able to process the beauty in front of him, he heard the screams of Yanderes behind him.

And ran off without a second glance.
