Upon Ayal opening the door to the sitting room, (Y/N)'s eyes immediately found Crowley sitting on the couch with his leg crossed over the other and his hand propping up his head while his elbow rested on the arm of the couch. His two aides, Chess and Horne, were situated on the floor in front of him, their heads resting on his knees looking like two nymphs serving a god of some sort.

That was, until their attention diverted to Ferid, Ayal, and (Y/N) entering the room.

Crowley's eyes immediately found (Y/N)'s, and as his smirk broadened with interest, she couldn't help but suddenly feel like a deer in headlights. Fidgeting under Crowley's gaze, she tried to remain calm even as Ferid led her by her chain to sit down on the couch opposite the other three vampires.

    (Y/N) swallowed thickly.

    This... isn't happening...

"This is a funny joke, Ferid," Crowley hummed in amusement as he straightened and gave a shake of his head. "If you wanted to satiate our appetites with a snack, at least provide one with better blood. I can't even sense—" He then suddenly cut himself off, his pupils seeming to dilate as a sudden realization dawned on his features, continuing, "Oh... I get it now. This is your little pet, right? I certainly do appreciate you showing it off when I asked... how obliging of you."

"Oh?" Ferid laughed lightly, raising a brow. "However did you know?

"Well..." Crowley murmured, his eyes trailing Ferid's name engraved on (Y/N)'s collar before meeting her eyes. "Some things clued me in."

Ferid chuckled lightheartedly at Crowley's words as he rested a gloved hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder to pull her into his chest. He seemed quite comfortable having her close, though for (Y/N), it was the opposite. Pressing a hand against the fine silk of his uniform to keep him at somewhat of a distance, she forced her expression to stay neutral, not wanting to offend either Ferid or Ayal, the latter keeping a close eye on her as if waiting for her to mess up.

"It certainly is well-behaved," Crowley pointed out whilst leaning back once more. "Usually livestock would be acting pathetic right now."

"It knows what will happen if it does start acting in such a way," Ferid answered as he tugged sharply on the chain to (Y/N)'s collar, partially choking her. "And besides, since I nor any vampire have desire for its blood, killing it after I'm done with it won't be a waste in the least."

    (Y/N) shuddered at that.

"It seems your little pet didn't like that," Crowley smirked. "How cute."

Though the word was affectionate, its meaning was more derogatory than anything. Ferid merely shrugged at Crowley's words, the two then discussing political strategy against the Human Demon Army. This gave (Y/N) time to focus on Crowley, finding him to the be the same as she remembered when watching the anime.

    He's strong.

I remember that he's pretty close to Ferid's strength, now that I think about it.

I still wonder why he's here though.

She then observed Horn and Chess.

Horn had the aura of a noble lady, her eyes a bit slanted which almost gave off a warm, well-learned aura which complimented the drawling smile on her lips. Her outfit of a white dress slit to show her legs further praised her curvaceous figure of a huge bust, and her beautiful features of curled blond hair and fair skin. Her counterpart, Chess, was a bit shorter than her, donning a black dress of the same cut as Horn's instead of white, with an almost pouty expression that went well with her short, ruffled purple hair and piercing red eyes. However, like Horn, she was still exceedingly beautiful.

Chess' eyes then met (Y/N)'s, and the glare she gave her was one that could cut through bone and flesh if given the chance.

    She immediately looked away, frightened.

    Damn.

She looked like she wanted to kill me.

(Y/N) then tuned back into the conversation between Ferid and Crowley when the topic shifted back to her. After a discussion about Krul and her movement toward claiming all humans as food sources, her sparing (Y/N) to Ferid was then brought up. That then devolved into an explanation of her blood and the testing of said blood.

"Here," Ferid extended a small vial of (Y/N)'s blood toward Crowley. "Have a taste."

"Wouldn't it be more... fresh if I just drank right from the source?" Crowley queried as he took the vial, the ruby liquid catching in the dim lighting whilst he turned it around in his hand.

    His eyes flicked to (Y/N).

    His smile turned almost bloodthirsty.

"Just drink," Ferid scoffed as his hand then trailed down to (Y/N)'s waist, his grip tightening on her body in a form of ownership.

Crowley shrugged at Ferid's obvious actions before uncapping the vial and tossing the liquid back. Even as he swallowed (Y/N)'s blood described as disgusting, there was not even a twitch in his expression. In fact, he looked to even be enjoying it as his smile returned and he slung an arm around the back of the couch, his tongue running over the top of his sharp teeth.

(Y/N)'s brows furrowed.

    Is he... not affected?

Her thoughts were then proved wrong when Crowley uttered, "Hm... it really does taste unpleasant. Strange how I couldn't sense that... I wonder just what exactly is causing that?"

"I've tried finding out, trust me," Ferid sighed, playing with a strand of (Y/N)'s hair almost lovingly so as he leaned back with a sigh. "Yet no matter what I put this human through, no matter what happens to it, nothing ever changes. But... from your reaction now, perhaps its blood has become more milder than before. It's true that its blood isn't as rotten smelling as before." Glancing towards Ayal, he hums, "Ayal... you've noticed a change, haven't you? Earlier, perhaps?"

"Yes..." Ayal's gaze flicked to the corner of his eyes. "I walked into the room earlier, and the smell wasn't as intense as usual. In fact... it was almost more manageable to stand."

"Oh?" Crowley's eyes curved at that piece of information. "How interesting."

    How interesting indeed...
