My phone started ringing letting me know I was receiving a call. I looked over at the contact and saw Jai's name illuminate my phone. With that, I ignored it.

My phone started going off again and I sighed dramatically to myself. I watched as the phone went to voicemail and laid back in my bed to get comfortable. I was upset with Jai and I wanted her to feel it as well.

Next thing you know, my phone started to buzz indicating I was receiving a text this time. I already knew it was Jai, which cause me to ignore it again. Before I decided to pick up my phone, I laid there a bit longer.

There was an incoming FaceTime call that flashed on my phone. I rolled my eyes before finally answering the call.

"Why you gotta be so petty and hardheaded for?" Jai's face popped up in the camera. I analyzed Jai's attire, per usual, once she set the phone up. Jailanee wore a black tank top and her locs were pulled back in a ponytail with a few strands hanging.

"You don't hear me speaking to you girl?" Jai spoke again. I could tell she was slightly getting annoyed, but it didn't phase me.

"I do." I finally said.

"Okay so speak back." Jailanee said in a duh tone.

I didn't respond. I don't know who she speaking to like that. I just stared at her while she stared back at me.

Jailanee sighed before she spoke again. "I'm sorry love. Can you please let me know why you acting like this towards me? I know I didn't text you back earlier but I can explain."

That 'love' shit going to make me fold every time.

The silence filled the air and I finally let out. "I'm mad at you."

"Okayy. Why are you mad?" Jailanee edged me to continue.

"I don't know." I shrugged. Subconsciously, I started fiddling with my fingers to distract myself.

"Kamya," Jai firmly said. That cause me to look up towards the phone. "Talk to me." She said softly this time.

I stared at her again trying to collect my thoughts. She's so pretty I thought.

"Please?" She asked. Fuck me now.

"I missed you." I rushed out.

"Huh?" Jailanee asked genuinely confused with what I said.

"I said I missed you." I looked away. This time I spoke slowly and more clearly for her to understand.

From the corner of my eyes I could see Jai grinning. Her dimples were on full display and I enjoyed the sight even though she was making fun of me, in my eyes.

"The little baby missed me?" She teased. Just by the way she spoke you can hear the grin in her voice. Annoying. I rolled my eyes regretting I even told her that.

"I'm just playing love, I missed you as well." She admitted.

I hid my smile behind my hand, moving my face out the camera to prevent her from seeing me blush.

"C'mere," she said which cause me to bring myself back into the frame. "That's why you were acting like that earlier?"

I nodded with a small pout. "Mhm. I wanted to speak to you before you went to work but yeah.." I trailed off.

She nodded slowly while deep in thought with a small content smile on her face. "Uh-huh. I'm sorry once again love. I'll make sure I text you first thing from now on okay?"

I nodded with a smile. "Okay."

The rest of the call we just talked for a little. Jai informed that about her upcoming business trip. I never even knew she had those, but whatever. She did say she would be able to text and call me still, which brightened my mood a bit.

I ended up doing some work after our little discussion, Jai insisted to help me with my math homework. I'm taking pre calculus and the main subject I dislike is math, so you see the problem here. Everything in the lesson was not clicking, which made Jailanee willing to helping me.

"Okay show me the problem right quick." Jai squinted her eyes trying to see the question properly.

I noticed her struggling. "Girl," I laughed. "I'll just send you a pic back up."

I took a picture of the question then sent it to Jai's phone and allowed her to read it.

"Okay you remember anything from class?" She asked.

I looked at her with an annoyed look. "No."

Jai returned the same look at me before sighing. Then, she broke the problem down for me and explained it in a way for me to understand. After she explained the question, showing me how to solve it, the lesson became a bit more easier.

She allowed me to complete the next question on my own. Whenever I get stuck on a certain part I would ask for her assistance, but for the most part I had it down pack because of her.

"Thank you jai jaii." I dragged out playfully with a big smile plastered on my face.

Jailanee rolled her eyes. And to think I thought I rolled my eyes a lot. "You're welcome blue."

I smiled. Blue..
