Jailanee normally doesn't smoke, but she has been on edge all day and needed something to calm her nerves. Each day seemed as if they were blending into each other causing it to feel incredibly long.

The overwhelming anxiety of her job and other factors washed over her being. Her emotions were skyrocketed, the only relieve she could think of is the relaxing herb between her fingertips.

With the new month starting she found a little hope for herself though. She was determined to meet the goals she set for herself by the end of the year.

She disappeared in her room finding her stash of weed and made her way back into the living room. Jai got comfortable on the couch before rolling up, she stared at her wood with fascination. Surprised she still knew how to roll this well.

Jai lit her blunt before turning music on for background noise. Nothing hit better than being high and listening to music, she thought to herself.

The melody of the music spoke to her, she found relaxation in the music. Hearing the group of singers harmonize perfectly washed all her anxiety away. She felt as if she was floating and her heads were in the clouds. Jailanee deepened herself into the couch as she stared at the ceiling.

She let the music carry her and the weed relax her.

On the other hand, Kamya was going through it. Her classes have been stressing her out and it felt like everything she was trying was not working. Her professor would leave videos at the end of each unit but they were pointless. They barely went over what was actually on the assignments.

She found herself trying to find other videos on YouTube going over the subject, but the videos never really went into details about what she needed to do... they were mainly overviews. Mya has an upcoming test and can barely finish or understand the assignments.

This subject was a bit rigorous for her, everything went into one ear and out the other. She would reread the question several times and end up empty handed. Mya took it upon herself to do more research in hopes to find an explanation.

Mya knew she could ask Jailanee for help, but she did not want to constantly bother her about work. She knew that Jai is busy most of the times with her own work and she believes Jai shouldn't have to be worried about her.

It has been around 30 minutes since Jailanee's smoke session and she became extremely hungry. Her mouth was overly dry, the saliva in her mouth did no justice. She got up making her way to the kitchen to find something to snack on.

She scanned through the fridge only finding something to make a sandwich. It consisted of ham, cheese, and hot Cheetos with a ice glass of pink lemonade. After she sat down her mind drifted to Mya, it has been around few hours and Jai has not heard from her.

Within the first three rings, Kamya answered the phone. As always, she was sitting at her desk with paper scattered everywhere. She wore a light purple hoodie, making her gold jewelry pop. Her locs were out of her face, pulled up into a bun. Mya's beautiful facial features were displayed to Jai.

"You look cuteness girl." Jai laughed as she spoke.

Kamya analyzed her, noticing that her eyes were low and tinted red. This was a sight Mya rarely saw, but she loved every second of it. The way Jai's eyes hung low just added more to her already powerful demeanor.

Mya smiled showing off her pearly whites. "Thanks boo. What you doing?"

Jai held up her blunt in the camera. "Oh and I'm eating." She showed Mya her sandwich she made.

"Hot Cheetos on yo sandwich? I know your booty hole gon hate you later." She laughed. Mya decided to clean up her desk as they talked. The presence of Jai made her relax, making her want to lay down.

"Girl hush, just vibe." Jai spoke calmly with a small smile due to Mya's comment.

Jai sat her phone up to finish eating her sandwich. Her locs were down dangling over her face as she leaned in to take a bite. Kamya just watched, yes she enjoyed the sight.

"It's good?" Mya snickered.

Jai's eyes darted towards her. "Yes actually it is. You wish this was you huh?"

Hell yeah. Kamya wished she was the sandwich lowkey.

"Anyways." Mya dismissed her.

"Anyways, what you do today big dog?"

"Please don't upset me Jai." Mya spoke sternly.

Jailanee laughed at her. "My fault but for real."

"I didn't do much today to be honest. Earlier I went over Jaz house and after that I been doing my work. I did pretty good on my other test."

"I knew you was gon pass it. You stay worrying about nothing. You the smartest person I know." Jailanee said as she finished up her sandwich.

"Thanks jai jai," Mya blushed a bit. "Damn you finished that sandwich fast."

"Bro shut up. I'm still hungry though."
