Kamya waited for Jailanee at the restaurant. She got there a little early due to her excitement. Last night they both agreed to meet at a local restaurant. They weren't sure exactly what they wanted to do, but they planned to converse in person.

A few moments went by and Mya turned and spotted Jai. Mya's eyes were captivated by the beauty that radiated off her, the energy that entered the room was both powerful and terrifying. Jai held such a strong demeanor it was almost overwhelming.

She turned back around expeditiously in hopes that Jai didn't notice her yet. Mya racked her mind of things to say, but her mind went blank.

Jailanee scanned the place trying to find Mya. A few seconds later she spotted her in the right corner of the restaurant. Even though she could not see the girl's face, she knew it was Mya because of the beautiful head full of locs.

As Jai walked towards the girl, she could feel her heart beating fast. If it was possible for her heart to jump out of her chest it would've, due to how hard and fast it beat.

Jai started thinking of ways to approach Mya the closer she got to her. Everything lick of common sense she had just flew out of her mind with each step she took. She found herself fumbling over her own sentences in her head. How is that even possible?

Mya finally built up enough courage to turned around trying to signal Jailanee to where she sat, biggest mistake she made. Her face became flustered when she locked eyes on Jai, she was just a couple feet away. Just like on the phone, Mya caught herself gazing at her. Jai's wore a white graphic tee with black jeans that went well with her shirt. Her locs were down, but her face was visible and beautiful.

The time seemed to have been moving slow, Mya felt the long seconds ticking as Jai proceeded to the table. The trance Jai had Mya in, she didn't realize that Jai already made it to the table.

"Hey Mya!" Jai beamed. She tried getting Mya's attention, but the girl stared off into space.

"Mya?" Jai tried again. "You good?" She asked once Mya came back to reality.

"O-oh shit h-hey wassup." Mya stuttered terribly.

Jai laughed. "Look who stuttering now." She teased.

"Shut up," she smiled. "Not going to lie you look good." Mya spoke feeling bold.

Jailanee smile at the compliment. "Thank you. You look good yourself." She slightly gazed at her.

"Thank you," she hid her blush. "Uh so." Mya tried starting a conversation, but it felt different than when they were on the phone.

"Hm?" Jai looked at her.

The shyness started seeping through Mya, her brain was not forming anything and she felt stupid. She is not a shy person at all, no way Jai got her acting like this.

Jai noticed the mood. "Relax girl I got you," she reassured her. "Look over the menu and try to calm down then we can spark up a conversation okay?" Jai looked up at her while nodding her head softly, signaling Mya to do the same.

Mya nodded before grabbing the menu. "Okay."

She looked through the menu trying to find something that seemed delicious. Mya wasn't sure if she wanted to try something new or stick to what she's tried previously. She looked over at Jai realizing she was staring at her.

"Creep." She stated softly.

Jailanee heard her clearly. "What was said? Speak up."

"You heard me." Mya smiled.

"Nah, that's what I thought," Mya rolled her eyes at Jai. "Did you figure out what you wanted to eat?" Jai asked.

"Not yet, everything looks so good I don't know what to pick. What you getting?"

"My specialty, the Italian sandwich." Jai said as she glanced up at Mya.

"That sounds good," Mya looked off trying to avoid eye contact. "I think I might try the Philly cheesesteak." She settled on a meal.

The waitress was called over and they placed their order, Jailanee ordering for Mya.

"You wanted to do something after this?" Jai asked.

"You just do and go anywhere with strangers?" Mya asked slightly referring to what Jai told her the first time they met.

Jai laughed. "Well you aren't a stranger anymore boo." She retorted.

"I guess you have a point."

"Oh I know I do girl." Jai spoke sassily.

"And I was the sassiest stud you ever met?" Mya laughed. "But I'm down to going somewhere else after this."

"Bet. Did you drove here?" Jai asked while staring at her. She has been staring at Mya the whole conversation providing her with her undivided attention. Mya tried her hardest to avoid her eyes, constantly looking off and elsewhere.

"Nah, Ms. Kim dropped me off." Mya looked off again.

"Okay perfect. You can ride with me." Jai smiled brightly.

Just then the waiter approached them with their meal, they ate and talked some more. Mya suddenly feeling a lot more comfortable than before. Her mouth kept going, Jai enjoyed it though.

"Damn little lady, you sure can put it away." Jai laughed as she referred to a TikTok sound.

Mya giggled a bit. "I don't like you."

"Yes you do. You ready to go?" They were both content and satisfied with their meal. Each finishing their plate and asked to take the drinks to go.

They made it to the parking lot where Jai's car parked. Mya had no idea where they were headed, Jai never mentioned.

"So where we going dweeb?" Mya questioned, taking a seat on the passenger side.

"You'll see," she looked over with a smile. "Play some music I need to see what you working with." Jai handed her phone.

"Now you know my music taste is better than yours." Mya stated as she took the phone, finding a song to play.

"Eh maybe." Jai agreed slightly. She has stole a few songs from Mya because they sounded amazing.

"Exactly." Mya laughed.

"Mhm," Jai glanced over at Mya. "You look pretty." She found herself complimenting Mya again.

Kamya's face turned red. "Thank you. You being gay stop." She laughed it off.
