Ariel was ready. Had her magic hidden and at her ready. She was not going to be a captive, she was going to fight, she was going to save herself. She was going to save Tali. She would get both of them back to Golden Green, and Alex and August and everything would be ok. Ariel repeated this mantra like a prayer. Willing her prayer to become real with everything she had inside of her heart.

Upstairs Fi'Ahn was doing her best to try and pretend that she could tolerate the abomination she had been reduced to working with. The things she had done in service to The Empress. Fi'Ahn could not wait to make her return. Begin the cleansing process, she was going to welcome the pain of every lash and bite of the whips knowing each strike and each offering of her blood would bring her body and spirit closer to being worthy of being raised once again.

A new chance to serve. To someday once again lead her own properly trained Liente in service to the Empress. Deluca finished brushing the burnt blanket flakes from what had previously been a well made and stylish suit. Roughly seventy years previous at least. Done feigning that she gave one atom of care for the creature before her, Fi'Ahn focused on speaking clearly, a challenge without a tongue "Give me what was promised and do not kill. I care not for what else you do." Holding her hand out expectantly.

Deluca's hands went to two separate pockets about his person. Producing an ancient idol of Nakith. Who was known as a minor goddess of the underworld in ancient Egypt on this world, and simultaneously known as one of The Circle of Nine who had blessed the First Empress with the duty to unite and rule all under her prime and supreme will. As well as a bag of blood stolen from a blood bank and a cloth bag.

Fi'Ahn hid her joy at seeing a proper idol. Carefully checking through the cloth bag to ensure that everything else she needed was there, or had a suitable replacement present. Deluca had done well. Everything brought would suit. Which meant she, by law of bargain, was required to fulfil the disgusting terms of their agreement.

Maintaining her distaste for the terms of their agreement was simple for Fi'Ahn. She had spent years on this Empress Forsaken hellscape now. Fi'Ahn carefully placed the offerings from Deluca on her work bench. What had at one point in its life been a European built solid wood secretary's desk. Featuring a beautiful, original, roll down, locking cover.

Disgusted by the absolute lows she was willing to meet, Fi'Ahn unlocked the basement and allowed Deluca access to the two Liente. She had anticipated that she would need to dispatch of the vampire herself. Smiling a secret, small smile. The omens were truly favouring her, Fi'Ahn followed the vampire down the stairs. Glad the half breed demon was unable to see her smile from the back of his head as he focused on his target.

Deluca was in one of the best moods of the most recent century. He had been busy since he had tasted Ariel at the club. She had been so delectable on his tongue, while so intractable towards physical pleasures. Maddening. Leaving him wanting more, like a common beggar. Deluca had been certain he would have been able to find some relative who would prove to be more pliant or more acquirable. A means to saite his hunger. There were none like her to be found.

Fi'Ahn maintained her perfect stoicism. Intrigued to see how the overly confident vampire would handle himself against a wild one. It was difficult to maintain her composure when the vampire began performing theatrics. "Ariel." A loud, exaggerated thud of a boot against the wood of the basement stair. "Briar," another punctuation enforcing footfall. "Rose." Landing at the bottom of the stairs on level concrete.

Ariel had been busy focusing on looking like she was still bound, while being ready to strike. Tali was just waking up now, and would be in danger if any fighting happened. Ariel had been ready to snap like an over stretched rubber band. Until her blood ran cold when she recognised the man walking down the stairs. A man, who wasn't really a man. A vampire, who was not supposed to have known her true name.

Deluca chuckled to himself. "A name fit for a fairy tale princess." Deluca sneered, as Ariel maintained her stiff, unmoving position. Fi'Ahn was impressed with the performance so far. "Or the kind of name one would expect when a girl of only three and ten becomes a mother." No one in the room missed how Ariel reacted to Deluca's latest statement. Especially not Deluca, who seemed to be feeding off Ariel's obvious distress as much as any incubi would. "Oh yes, Darling treat, I have learned so much about you and how our paths are intertwined." Fi'Ahn had to commend the wild Liente, she had excellent instincts and control. The Empress would surely delight in breaking such a creature into a perfect, serving pet.

Deluca was clearly baiting her, Fi'Ahn could feel the buzz of her magic in the air, hidden and waiting to be sprung. The Liente apparently had a mother wound which consumed far too much of her physical energy and focus. Fi'Ahn sat back to enjoy the show from a safe distance. The display clearly demonstrated how careful controlled breeding for magic was far better than allowing the ability to run unchecked in a population. Who could ever count how many other wildings were running free without the guiding hand of The Empress controlling their power.

Fi'Ahn could wait no longer, once this afternoon's interlude of entertainment was complete, she vowed to begin setting up the spell and incantations required to finally return to The Empress and the one true world under her eye.

Fi'Ahn refocused her attention on the Liente. The smaller, weaker one had awoken from her slumber and was staring mouth agape as the vampire tormented the stronger with what appeared to be a detailed history of her parentage and existence.

"Now the crux of where you and I intertwine Treat." Making a grand show of gestures as he wound up for his final blow. "Your mother did not do well out on her own, poor wretched thing. Half starved and strung out, riddled with more venereal diseases than I could name. Broken, lost and up for sale on the auction block after making one bad drug deal too many." Fi'Ahn could see the Liente's control over her ruse falter.

"I fucked Becca hard enough to break her pelvis before draining the stupid useless slut dry." Deluca declared. Making a face of disgust "She was used, and sour." Making a grand show of licking his lips as he leered at Ariel. "I've promised to keep you alive; but no more. You will remember me every single day for the rest of your miserable life Treats." Deluca pounced towards Ariel ready to finally take what he wanted from her body. Whatever happened next was her fault, she had denied him a chance to work her out of his system when she sold her blood. Stupid chaste bitch needed to learn her place, especially if she was going to a world that made tight asses like Fi'Ahn.
