Seokjin took a deep breath. "I chose to... turn her into a vampire"
Not everyone agreed with the decision, but no one argued.
"I believe she deserves a second chance, a second life in which she could live happily and peacefully with us" he explained.
Jungkook stepped forward, though Namjoon tried to hold him back.
"I want to do the ritual" he said with a determined look on his face.
Some looked at him skeptically.
"Oh c'mon, stop treating me like a child!! I can do it!" Jungkook said upset.
"I trust you" Seokjin answered before stepping aside.
Jungkook approached Y/N's body. The anger in his eyes disappeared instantly. He looked at her wounds with sadness. Wounds never bothered him when they were inflicted on him. But it was a whole different story when they were inflicted on the ones he cherished. He wished he could take the wounds away from her, put them on his body instead of hers. But such magic did not exist. All he could do was to transform her into a vampire, save her from death, as far as vampires were considered alive.
Without any warning, he slashed his arm on a great length, much more than necessary. The others gasped at his sudden gesture. Unwavering, he offered his arm to her mouth, his blood flowing. He cleaned her face afterwards with his sleeve and eyed her neck. Two dots were there, where Drago had bitten her. He was disgusted and wanted to remove this from her at once. So he sank his fangs in the exact same two holes to drink some of her blood. No new wound created, and no more traces of that monster.
"The ritual has been performed" Seokjin said as a conclusion.
"Told you I could do it" Jungkook said bitterly to the others, who looked at him with frowns on their faces. It was the first time they had seen a ritual being performed in such a way.
"You didn't have to open your arm so deep though. Look at that slash! From wrist to elbow!" Namjoon reproached him.
Jungkook ignored him, carried Y/N in his arms and walked back to the manor, leaving everyone on the spot.
"Is he ever going to change?" Namjoon asked himself, desperate about his brother's carelessness.
"It might be too late, after all this time. But if there is the slightest chance, then I believe Y/N is the key" Seokjin answered him, patting his back in a comforting manner.
Namjoon looked at him hopeful, and nodded. He tried so hard over the years, to no avail. Y/N was his last hope.

I woke up from what felt like a very long night. I slowly opened my eyes, getting ready to be blinded by the sunlight. However, to my surprise, the room was pretty dim with only rays of moonlight filtering through the windows. How could it still be the night? Surely, I couldn't have slept a full day.
I turned my head to the left and raised my eyebrows in surprise. Jungkook was there, sitting on a chair and looking at the window. Hearing the sound of the sheets being ruffled, he turned his face to look at me.
"The princess has awoken. Good morning sleeping beauty" he said, flashing a smile.
"How long have I slept? Why is it still the night?"
"Oh well, the nickname speaks for itself. You slept for a full day"
"But that's impossible"
"It's actually pretty common in your case. Nothing to worry about"
