{I do not own Naruto, Kishimoto does}

Sakura watched the grinning faces from her place at the low, rectangular table. Inari, Naruto and Sai were talking and arguing about several things; the subject changed every five minutes! Yamato was talking to Tsunami about architecture, as they realised they both had a keen interest towards it.
And then there was Kakashi, amusing Tazuna with his jokes, the old man's laughter, booming echoes that bounced off the cream-coloured walls. She was enjoying herself so much.
Her team had questioned her again, also asking her why it took Atsune and her a long time to arrive at the village. Sakura told them that while she was tree-jumping, she panicked and had ended up slipping and falling to the ground. She had also said that her constant moving around in the forest had probably made it harder for Atsune to find her, that being the reason to why they were so late to arrive.
She didn't add anything about how it was the Dark Aura who made Sakura lose her way, and she most certainly didn't mention that the Dark Aura had guided her to Sasuke through his chakra. Sakura was even puzzled at what to call the meeting with Sasuke, was it something destined for good or bad.
The news from Tazuna helped lighten her mood though. She was told that Tazuna had founded 'The Village Hidden in Tsunamis', thus giving the Land of Waves it's own shinobi village. There was still a lot of work to be done so Tazuna called on shinobi from Konoha to help.
Sakura was glad that the Hokage chose her team; they were perfect for this.
Tazuna had said to her, "We want to protect our home with everything we have, but we have no shinobi history. In our eyes, everyone can be a hero. That is why we will welcome those with a bad past and lead them to a good future." That meant even ex-criminals were welcome to help the village prosper, as long as they were willing to change.
"A lot of criminals are not completely evil, we've all learnt this from Zabuza and Haku" Tazuna had said to her. Sakura's heart ached when the old man had mentioned them, and the respect she held for them made her smile greatly.
Tazuna had asked for Konoha's help with construction and standing guard. There were still things that needed to be built for the village. And when it came to standing guard, a summit was to be held in a month that would involve shinobi from all over, including ex-criminals, and Tazuna himself.
During the summit, Tazuna would try to persuade and inspire the shinobi to join him by using the story of Zabuza and Haku, as well as other methods. And in case any of the shinobi disagreed and tried to create havoc, the Konoha shinobi would be there to stop it.
Of course more reinforcements would be sent but this was only the construction stage of the mission; they weren't needed now. The scroll had mentioned that this mission would be longer than a month, but Sakura would have never guessed that the mission was this, even whilst reading the other details.
This was a great mission and Sakura was even able to see Tazuna, Tsunami and Inari during it. Sakura was slightly surprised that they hadn't asked about Sasuke, but she guessed that they learnt about Sasuke going rouge after founding the village; it must have been through research and the Bingo books.
"Dinner was delicious Tsunami-san" Sakura motioned as she finished off what was on her plate. It was late in the evening when they had finished the meeting in Tazuna's office, regarding the mission, and Sakura was starving by the time they reached the house her and the rest of Team Kakashi would be staying in.
