So it's been nearly a year since I've updated this I think.
I ask for forgiveness.
I hope this chapter is worthy enough.
I AM SO TIRED! IT IS 1AM!
(I don't own Naruto, Kishimoto does and will always do)

Sasuke felt Sakura stiffen, just after the intruding man had spluttered her name from his lips. Then he felt the kunoichi's small and slender hands abruptly move from his collar.
"I'll take it from here, Carlos" the intruding man stated, breaking the silence that had just begun, addressing a stranger who couldn't yet be seen. Sasuke noticed that the man was drunk, but then ignored him to focus more on their surroundings. There had been an observer, Carlos, spying on him and Sakura even before the drunken man had made his appearance. Sasuke realised that this Carlos was able to conceal his chakra and very presence perfectly. He wondered if the hiding stranger had any other attributes, and then felt a sudden urge to fight him.
"You sure took your time, you drunken imbecile" came a voice from above. Sasuke waited patiently for the stranger to show himself, but as he leaned back slightly, he found Sakura staring intently over his shoulder, searching for any signs of the hidden Carlos.
Suddenly, the sound of someone flying through the air echoed around them. The hiding stranger had landed.
"No need to be so heartbroken, Carlos. We're supposed to be partners for life!" the drunken man shouted shamelessly. "I'll overlook your pathetic state if you manage to perform your duties, exceptionally" Carlos hissed in reply.
"YES SIR!" bellowed the drunken man obediently.
Sighing, Sasuke rubbed the back of his neck. It was beginning to get tiresome, listening and standing witness to two people arguing. He could have escaped, and he wasn't afraid to leave Sakura behind either. Yet he forced himself to stay grounded, in case the two shonobi revealed information about the new village's defences. A question also lingered at the back of his mind, and the answer itself could only satisfy his curiosity.
"I don't want to have to come back and sort this out myself, I'm already late as it is. And make sure to find out their identities. I couldn't do it myself because of the darkness and height" Carlos instructed and Sasuke heard his rough footsteps stomp away.
"Miller Carlos has finally found someone, eh?" the drunken man giggled immaturely.
The footsteps came to a halt. "Sort out your own relationship problems before assuming such vulgar things about me... go to hell Aron." Carlos walked away again, the sound of his footsteps slowly lowering until they could be heard no more.
"We meet again Sakura" the drunken man, Aron, croaked shortly afterwards. Sakura had moved away from Sasuke and started to walk towards the drunken intruder, leaving him to lie against the wall instead. His body felt cold.
Sasuke turned to face the two and pushed his back tightly against the wall, keeping himself well within the shadows. Aron would be able to see him but not well enough for the drunken fool to recognise who he was.
Sasuke folded his arms as he looked towards his former teammate and the drunkard; things were about to get interesting.
---
Sakura hesitantly stepped towards Aron. She had to direct his attention away from Sasuke and get him to leave, but it wasn't going to be easy. Her eyes spotted the green bottle in Aron's hand. She wondered if she could get the male shinobi drunker than he already was.
