Meet Dilemma

Him

I was dying slowly. Every moment seemed like a slow-moving drama film and I was the target.

I woke up, pulled myself off of my back and looked at the mirror. It seemed as though every time I looked in the mirror, I could see the face of death appearing from behind.

I had gotten a text from him.

"You want to hang out today?"
"I'm feeling kind of sick..."

He then offered to take me to the nearest diner for some fries and a shake, so I gratefully accepted.

As soon as we hit the door, my eye caught my two bestfriends in the middle of ordering a few slices of Hershey pie. My sickness seemed to fade away all at once at that moment.

"I haven't seen you guys in foreverrrrr!" I screamed across the diner. We quickly got seated in a booth together... me, Journey, Pierce, and him. We talked until we got kicked out.

"You guys have been here for 4 hours and haven't ordered but 2 pies. Pay up or get out!"

So that's what we did. Hershey pies weren't that important to us... well, except to Journey, who would hang onto her pie for dear life.

We separated at the crosswalk. Pierce and Journey went left, while him and I went right.

"Look, I'm sorry for taking the attention off of you at the diner. It's just that, I haven't seen them since the funeral and..."

He kissed me.

"I just want you to be happy..." He smiled.

I couldn't resist, I reached up and kissed him again and he embraced me.
He walked me home and I took a look at the time.

"Hey, it's only 8. My curfew isn't until 12."
"Well, what do you suppose we do until 12?"

I smirked at him. And although it was wrong, I couldn't help myself. His touch was magical and the love we made was even more beautiful than then his touch.

I took another look at my clock.

"It is 12:35! I'm late!"
"Well, since you're late, you might as well stay a little longer."

I knew it was wrong, and I knew that I was going to be in BIG trouble. But it just felt like that was where I was supposed to be. We made love all night.
