As the three brothers delved into their Mafia matters, Emily tackled math equations in her room. Alexander's phone buzzed incessantly on the bedside table. "Unknown Caller" flashed on the screen.
Emily's curiosity piqued. Who could be calling Uncle Alexander so persistently? She glanced at Alexander, engrossed in Mafia discussions with Ethan and Lucas.
Without hesitation, Emily picked up Alexander's phone and used her tech wizardry to unlock it. She navigated to the call logs and saw a flurry of missed calls from the mysterious "Unknown Caller."
Emily's eyes sparkled. Time to investigate.
She answered the call, adopting a husky voice. "Hello?"
A sultry female voice responded, "Alexander, darling. Where have you been? I've been trying to reach you all day."
Emily's eyebrows shot up. "Darling"? Who was this woman?
"Who is this?" Emily asked, still in her husky tone.
The woman hesitated. "Who is this? This is... Natasha. Alexander's... friend."
Emily's detective senses tingled. "Friend"? Yeah, right
Emily stormed into the room, phone in hand. "Uncle Alexander, you've got a 'friend' on the line. Natasha." Alexander's face turned ash gray. "Oh no, not her again." Ethan and Lucas exchanged amused glances. "Looks like someone's got a secret," Ethan teased.
Alexander hastily took the phone. "Natasha. What's your problem? Natasha's sultry voice echoed through the speaker. "Alexander, sweetheart. I've been trying to reach you. Our one night together wasn't enough." Alexander's face contorted in horror. "Natasha, please. That was just... uh... business research."
Emily's eyebrows shot up. "Business research"? Lucas chuckled. "Sounds like Alexander's got some 'extracurricular activities' to explain." Ethan snickered. "Guess that's one way to 'network'." Alexander mouthed silent pleas for mercy as Emily's gaze bored into him.
Natasha purred. "I'll wait. You can't escape me, Alexander. We have unfinished business." Alexander face-palmed, his eyes locked on Emily's incredulous expression.
After the call, Alexander exhaled. "Honestly, guys, it was just a one-night stand. I didn't think she'd become so... clingy." Ethan chuckled. "Sounds like Ava 2.0. Maybe Natasha craves some... torture." Lucas snickered. "Alexander's got a knack for attracting crazy."
Emily's eyes widened, realizing she was still in the room. "Uh, guys, I think I should go..." Alexander turned, mortified. "Emily! I forgot you were here. Please, just... pretend you didn't hear." Emily's face burned. "I'm going, I'm going."
As Emily fled, Ethan called after her. "Don't worry, kiddo. Uncle Alexander's just got a... unique talent." Lucas laughed. "For attracting drama." Alexander face-palmed. "This is not funny. Natasha's ruining my life." Ethan grinned. "Well, maybe you should've kept the 'business research' story going."
Alexander's grin faded. "Ethan, we can't harm Natasha. She's just... misguided."
Lucas nodded. "Yeah, no Ava repeats. We'll find another way."
Alexander sighed. "You're right. I'll handle it."
Emily re-entered, still looking disturbed. "Uncle Alexander, what's still going on?"
Alexander knelt beside her. "Sweetie, I'm sorry you heard that. Natasha's just someone I... met. But I promise, I'll take care of it."
Emily's expression softened. "Be careful, Uncle Alexander."
