The captive finally agreed to spat out all information.
Alexander's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as the captive's resolve crumbled. "Talk," Alexander commanded, his voice firm. The captive's words spilled out in a desperate rush.

"The package is hidden in a warehouse on 5th and Main. It's guarded by Conti's men. They're waiting for further instructions."

Alexander's expression remained unyielding.

"Who gave the orders?"

"Victor Conti," the captive stammered.

Alexander's eyes narrowed.

"Anything else?"

The captive hesitated, then spoke.

"Conti's planning to meet with a mysterious buyer. Don't know who."

Alexander's gaze never wavered.

"Tell me more about the buyer."

The captive shook his head.

"I swear, I don't know. Conti kept it secret."

Alexander leaned back, his eyes burning with intensity. The captive's curiosity got the better of him.

"Who's Emily?" he dared to ask.

Alexander's expression darkened.

"You dare ask about my family?"

The captive trembled.

"I just... she sounds important to you."

Alexander's gaze turned icy.

"She's none of your concern."

But the captive pressed on.

"Is she... in danger?"

Alexander's face twisted in rage.

"You think you care about her safety?"

The captive nodded.

"I do. Please, tell me."

Alexander's eyes flashed with warning.

"Drop it."

But the captive's curiosity had awakened something within him.

"Please," he whispered.

Alexander's expression softened, ever so slightly.

"Emily's... innocent. Untouched by this world."

The captive's eyes locked onto Alexander's.

"I promise... I won't harm her."

Alexander's gaze narrowed and he chuckled.

"You're in no position to promise anything. Your own life is in my hands"

"I've told you everything," the captive whispered, his eyes pleading. "Now, you'll kill me, or Conti will. Either way, I'm dead."

Alexander's gaze never wavered, his eyes cold and calculating.

The captive's voice took on a desperate tone.

"Please, tell me more about Emily. It's my last wish."

Alexander's expression darkened.

"Why do you care about Emily?" he growled.

The captive's eyes locked onto Alexander's.
