Alexander went to his penthouse for a very important work after returning from Lucas's place.
Alexander's penthouse, late evening.
Ava, a stunning woman, lay beside him, her voice husky.
"Alexander, you're incredible."
Alexander smiled, his eyes gleaming.
"You're not bad yourself. But let's not get too comfortable."
Ava's gaze turned serious.
"What do you mean?"
Alexander shrugged.
"We had fun. That's all."
Ava's voice dropped to a whisper.
"But I thought we had a connection."
Alexander laughed.
"Connection? You mean the connection between my wallet and your designer clothes?"
Ava's eyes flashed.
"How dare you!"
Alexander's expression turned cold.
"Save the drama. You knew what this was."
Ava's voice trembled.
"You're heartless."
Alexander smirked.
"That's why I'm still single. No attachments."
Ava gathered her clothes and stormed out.
Alexander watched her go, unmoved.
"Another one who thought she could tame me."
"Well she wasn't that one I want another." Alexander exclaimed.
Marcus, Alexander's best friend, stood outside the penthouse, watching Rachel storm out in tears.
Marcus shook his head.
"Alexander, you're unstoppable," Marcus said, walking in.
Alexander poured himself a drink.
"What's up, Marcus?"
Marcus raised an eyebrow.
"Another heartbroken girl. What happened?"
Alexander shrugged.
"Just a one-night stand. She wanted more."
Marcus sighed.
"You're going to get caught one day, Alex."
Alexander smirked.
"I always cover my tracks."
Marcus's expression turned serious.
"But what about Emily? She looks up to you."
Alexander's gaze hardened.
"Emily's different. She's family."
Alexander's phone buzzed. A Telegram message from an unknown number:
"You're going to pay for what you did to Ava."
Alexander's eyes narrowed.
"Looks like Ava has a friend."
Marcus's eyes widened.
"Be careful, Alex. This could get ugly."
Alexander's eyes blazed with anger.
"Marcus, track that Telegram message. Find out who's behind it."
